Overview
A power
Alacrity DPS build for Amalgam.
In addition to
Alacrity, this build generates ~17
Might (~14 of which comes from blasting fire fields), 50%
Fury and 30%
Swiftness. It also provides 20%
Stability, but as you need to use the skill for
Alacrity, you cannot use it reactively.

Weapon Variants
All of Amalgam's power weapon options (Rifle, Hammer and Sword/Pistol) are close to each other in effectiveness, so you can run whichever you prefer.
Skill Variants
Protocols
As a support, you could consider swapping one of your protocols to bring different boons. The most likely candidate is . Unfortunately, all the default protocols provide provide a good bit of damage, and you'd only get 20%
Protection uptime in return. Bringing for
Aegis is not practical, as you'll need to use the skill off cooldown to maintain
Alacrity.
Heal
You can provide a small amount of support with your choice of heal skill. Both the options below can also provide a blast finisher in case you miss one for triggering .
- allows you to cleanse condis and apply some
Swiftness and
Vigor. - also provides some condi cleanse. In general it's a less potent option than , but easier to use.
Utility
- Other weapons don't have a blast finisher built-in, so they need to replace with to trigger .
- If you want a simpler rotation, you could replace instead.
- You don't need to run if not using .

- The
Dragon stats pieces are a very small DPS increase, so you can use full
Berserker stats if you wish.
Boon Duration
This build doesn't strictly need any boon duration, but the uptime is pretty tight so it is recommended to bring some, though the amount is up to you.
Switching the chest piece to
Diviner stats is a simple approach, and Diviner gear is the most efficient way to get boon duration so you could swap more pieces if desired. If this is inconvenient you could also consider:

General Tips
- Hammer is an overloaded weapon in terms of utility: reflects projectiles, is a series of short evades, is a channeled block, and is an AoE stun. Making the best use of all of them will greatly improve your effectiveness.
