Condi Bannerslave (also known as Banner Support or BS) is a meta defining offensive support in raids. This build provides up to 10 players with the unique damage buffs Banner of Strength.png Banner of Strength and Banner of Discipline.png Banner of Discipline. It also provides Empower Allies.png Empower Allies, strong CC, and very high personal DPS for a support build. Due to the raw power of its damage buffs one bannerslave is standard in every raid group.
This build focuses on condition damage and excels in long sustained fights. For a more CC and burst damage focused variant, see Warrior - Power Bannerslave. For a variant with boonstrip but mediocre damage, see Spellbreaker - Power Boonstrip Bannerslave.
This guide is focused on raids. For the fractal version see Berserker - Condi Bannerslave (Fractal).

Tactics Variant

Tactics is only worth running instead of Tactics if your party is mostly power DPS that would benefit much from Empower Allies.png Empower Allies. This provides lower personal DPS but increases allies' power DPS.

Phalanx Strength Variant

If you need to provide 25 might to your party by yourself, take Phalanx Strength.png Phalanx Strength, replace runes with
, and replace
. This is a big DPS loss and should only be used in groups with no other source of might.

  • very minor dps difference. If you already have a set with them, upgrading to
    is a low priority.

  • If you want to maximize your damage you can gain approximately 4% extra dps by using infusions that provide +5 condition damage, such as Malign +9 Agony Infusions, however this is only a small damage increase for what can be a very large gold cost.

General Tips

  • Fill in gaps in the rotation with auto-attacks until the next skill is off cooldown
  • Follow the rotation as much as possible but stay on longbow if you can't make use of your sword skills in melee range.
  • Shattering Blow.png Shattering Blow should be used off cooldown, taking priority over everything except Scorched Earth.png Scorched Earth. Head Butt.png Head Butt should only be used in combination with Shattering Blow.png Shattering Blow (or if you have stability from another source) to prevent the self-stun from it.
  • Once the boss is below 50% hp, you should use Final Thrust.png Final Thrust in place of an auto-attack while on sword for extra damage.

  • Your most easily accessible strong CC is Head Butt.png Head Butt.
  • If your team needs strong CC, on Mathias Gabrel for example, you can switch Shattering Blow.png Shattering Blow for Wild Blow.png Wild Blow, your strongest CC option.

  • If you have "For Great Justice!".png "For Great Justice!" use it off cooldown.
  • You can provide extra might for your group by using Arcing Arrow.png Arcing Arrow inside your Scorched Earth.png Scorched Earth or another fire field.
  • Use all of your equipped Banners at the beginning of the fight and re-summon them off cooldown.
  • Some bosses have attacks that are harmful to the group if they're reflected (Primarily Matthias Gabrel and Cairn the Indomitable), make sure to familiarize yourself with these and avoid reflecting them with Shattering Blow.png Shattering Blow.

This build and rotation is quite solid and strong. As with most cwar builds, goal is to have as many Scorched Earths as possible, with other skills carefully distributed to replenish adrenaline before Scorched comes off cooldown. Relies heavily on near-perfect alacrity, so be nice to your chronos! With a single warrior and other unique buffs (single holo, single rev), groups might look like 7-1-1-1, where one of the chronos and both healers are outside. Used it with great effect on Wing 5's Soulless boss, also getting 'Necro Dancer' achieve in the same pull. For challenge mote version, we took two of these warriors, each with wild blow (help add removal), shattering blow, banner in more of a 5-5 comp.

Now that might generation is no longer the responsibility of warriors they are able to focus their build to provide excellent dps while providing passive stat auras with Banners and Empower Allies

This build is especially great now more than ever because of the high demand for Condi builds in Wing 4. Makes everything go by so much faster and DPS is great. It is a MUST to follow this rotation though, DPS plummets without it. Otherwise great build.

Still a great build even after the SoI nerf. Any combo of rev, guardian, ele, etc can easily make up the might loss that this build has over the power PS. Great choice for VG, Gor, Sab, Trio, Matthias, and Xera. If your group never uses a class that can help fill in a few might stacks, then you may want to swap to smoldering sigil and use fried golden dumplings.
