Condition Berserker Berserker is a fast paced build for open world that also provides boons. You'll spend most of the time in Berserk mode, dealing increased damage and killing enemies by spamming the Primal Burst skills Scorched Earth and Flaming Flurry, inflicting lots of Burning Burning, so you have good burst damage for a condition build. You will also provide some Quickness Quickness to yourself and nearby allies, though not 100% uptime in dps gear. Berserker is also very relentless, having 2 stunbreak skills that also help with damage, and a heal skill that makes you nigh-immortal for a few seconds.

It is the only condition build avaliable to warrior. As downsides, the build is not easy to play, requires very frequent weapon swapping supported by Fast Hands, requires use of combo fields to reach its true potential due to King of Fires (See: Guide:What are Combo Fields), and cannot maintain permanent Quickness Quickness in dps gear unlike power berserker.

Usage

Berserk

Berserk is the profession mechanic of the berserker. After filling your Adrenaline bar, for example by using Head Butt, activate the skill to enter Berserk. In Berserk mode, you deal additional damage thanks to Fatal Frenzy, and have increased critical chance due to Smash Brawler. Your maximum Adrenaline is reduced, so it's easier to gain full Adrenaline to use the improved Primal Burst skills Scorched Earth and Flaming Flurry which are your sourcess of Quickness Quickness.

For these reasons, maintaining Berserk mode is key to playing berserker correctly. Blood Reckoning, Outrage and Head Butt extend the duration of your current Berserk mode. Using a Primal Burst also extends the Berserk duration due to Smash Brawler. Thanks to this, you can maintain permanent Berserk mode during fights.

Damage

Start fights by instantly filling your Adrenaline bar with Head Butt, activate Berserk, and scorch your enemies.

Sword/Torch Priority

  1. Flaming Flurry
  2. Flames of War
  3. Blaze Breaker
  4. Savage Leap
  5. Final Thrust
  6. Fill with auto-attacks

Longbow Priority

  1. Scorched Earth
  2. Fan of Fire
  3. Pin Down
  4. Arcing Arrow
  5. Fill with auto-attacks

In short, spam your Primal Bursts. Use Blood Reckoning to cast Scorched Earth twice back to back, then swap back to sword when you can since longbow lacks sustained damage.

  • Use Head Butt + Outrage when your weapon skills are on cooldown to help maintain Berserk, but try to use Outrage strategically if facing enemies with stuns.
  • Use "For Great Justice!" before starting fights, and periodically throughout them.
  • Use Shattering Blow off cooldown.
  • Try to stay in Berserk mode as long as possible.
  • When you have a Fire Aura, try to detonate it by using a berserker skill to trigger King of Fires. "Berserker skills" refers to primal burst, rage, and torch skills. Remember that leap finishers such as Savage Leap provide fire aura when used on fire fields (See: Guide:What are Combo Fields).

Defense

  • Shattering Blow blocks attacks and reflects projectiles.
  • Smoldering Arrow can be used to blind enemies.
  • Remember to always dodge and sidestep attacks if possible. Don't get hit by anything you can move out of.

Crowd Control

  • Head Butt
  • Pin Down

Condi Berserker is one of the strongest zerg farming builds in the game due to its extremely high area damage and CC. With party support, this build is able to lay down extremely high AOE thanks to Longbow F1 while also retaining very good single-target damage, which makes it incredible at clearing trash mobs and at fighting bosses. It deals good damage from range when needed but should typically be played in melee when possible. The build isn't fantastic at solo play, as it can be quite squishy, but when it comes to group farming it's easily S+ Tier.
