Usage

Elite specialization basics

  • Catalysts gain access to Deploy Jade Sphere, which is an AoE that grants boons and provides a combo field depending on the attunement.
  • The Jade Sphere requires energy to deploy, which is generated by hitting enemies.
  • Jade Spheres are instant and can be used while casting abilities or while suffering from CC.


General

  • Your job is to roam the map and assist in team fights or +1 sidenodes. You should avoid 1v1s, but you can handle some of them due to the range of your abilities.
  • Your 4 skills on Spear are significantly stronger if you can hit enemies within the 120 radius instead of the 240 radius. This even allows for skills such as to activate for additional damage.
  • recharges all the skills of your current attunement. This can be beneficial for escaping a bad situation or pushing out extra damage in a fight. Primary attunements you may want to use this for are Water or Air; healing or damage respectively.


Etchings

  • Unique to Spears, they have a skill in their 5th slot called Etching. This skills are preludes that grant boons and provide a field, similarly to Jade Spheres. However, they also allow for a time frame to use a powerful skill. This skill is strengthened if 3 skills are used while inside the radius of this effect.
  • Generally speaking, you should try to get these abilities prepared, but don't sacrifice survival odds standing in these. Their fields can be enough to shift tides alone. Especially with healing over time or providing Stability Stability.
  • is powerful for generating a lot of Might Might in a short time alongside your Jade Sphere. Once you use three abilities, you should attempt to use to increase the damage further and finish with .
