Utility

Usage

This build revolves around using the trait Fire for Effect which gives access to the stolen skill Steal Time, by using skills such as Deadeye's Mark .

When using cantrip utility skills such as Shadow Flare gives additional Steal Time, Because of One in the Chamber.

Rotation

Opener

  1. Deadeye's Mark
  2. Steal Time
  3. Shadow Flare
  4. Steal Time
  5. 4 X Weakening Charge this equates to using all the initiative.
  6. Mercy
  7. Steal Time
  8. Deadeye's Mark
  9. 4 X Weakening Charge this equates to using all the initiative.
  10. Steal Time

In the opener Steal Time should have been used 4 times.

Rotation concept

  • Now weave skills in between your Auto attack chain.
  • Use Weakening Charge when initiative is available and not interrupting your Auto attack chain.
  • Use Shadow Flare and Deadeye's Mark and Mercy off cooldown.
  • Remember to use Steal Time between using Deadeye's Mark and Shadow Flare or Mercy.
  • Since Mercy recharges Deadeye's Mark try therefore to always use Deadeye's Mark before using Mercy if they come off cooldown around the same time.
  • Mercy also recharges initiative. Make sure that initiative is low before using Mercy

There's no need for this much Diviner gear on an FFE build. That gear will overlap with zero other builds, and comes from a simple flaw—taking Signet of Malice instead of Malicious Restoration. This build isn't "safe" even with Signet of Malice—it's constantly spamming an animation lock and doesn't have Maleficent Seven's boons to provide a buffer with perfect Protection uptime. You can actually queue Malicious Restoration during Weakening Charge, removing the one bit of mechanical difficulty that normally comes with using a heal skill in a rotation (e.g. Hide in Shadows for Rifle Deadeye, Signet of the Ether for Mesmer). So long as the player's inputs are setup comfortably, they can cast Weakening Charge then input Malicious Restoration inside its cast time. With 7,200 healing on a 20 second cooldown (with Alacrity, which we assume since this is an endgame support build), you heal the equivalent of 360 health per second. Signet of Malice heals ~535 per second during autoattacks or Weakening Charge. It's not a significantly better heal throughput (except when cleaving), and taking that Cantrip drastically reduces your Quickness uptime and led to using Diviner gear. Swap the gear to Berserker (Assassin amulet), use Malicious Restoration, change Accuracy sigil to Impact, keep traits as they are.
