Usage

This is a teamfight oriented power and boonstrip build. Large bursts of sustain from Perforate, Signet of the Locust, and deceptively high lifeforce generation from boon stripping and Blighter's Boon. Goals are to fight with the team as much as possible, focus soft targets with axe+focus, disrupt the fight in general with Extirpate or try to suppress boon reliant foes.

Plague Signet is a short cooldown stunbreak, a condi transfer, as well as an instant cast 1200 range no-projectile boon rip. Axe and Focus are immune to all forms of traditional projectile hate, giving this build difficult to counter pressure on soft targets. Signet of the Locust paired with Signets of Suffering and Blighter's Boon can be a full heal in a teamfight. Spear is spear. This should not need explaining, but it is currently one of if not defacto necromancer's strongest weapon. High life siphon damage on spear will melt anything regardless of damage reduction on said target.

Important note! The in game description for Blighter's Boon is WRONG. It applies healing and life force generation both in shroud and standard states!

This was a fun couple of games but I think I'll go back to playing spear harb now. This doesn't have the teamfight carry potential of a standard power reaper nor the 1v1 strength of a curses spear harb. What it does have is the best boonstrip in the game, but that's still weaker than boon corruption. It's just not as deadly as some other necro builds, and it's not survivable enough to be a duelist. It's fun and I might give it a go again when I wanna play something fresh, but there are like 5 other necro builds I'd put above this one in effectiveness. Maybe take the quickness trait on reaper to boost the damage a bit? Idk. P.S: Signet of locust requires line of sight and that's just horrible to use sometimes. Like legit missing 3/4 targets with the aoe sometimes because it's nearly impossible to line up with all the nearby enemies on difficult terrain. I don't understand why that's a thing. Not the build's fault per se, but it does drag it down. Anet pls.

Super fun to play, fantastic for team fights and incredibly survivable in the right situations.

This build is good in the right hands, but I struggled when trying it personally. Definitely interested to see what it's going to be like after the patch

This build is an amazing bunker buster that removes boons from the entire enemy team while keeping itself alive through lifesteal. After the June 24th patch goes live and the lifesteal from signets is doubled it will definitely be a strong teamfighter with 'interesting' results.
