Overview
A power DPS build for Ritualist.
Skill Bar

- - AoE pull for easier cleaving.
- - destroys projectiles.
- - 1200 range teleport. Can also bodyblock certain projectiles (e.g. Old Tom's poison whirl).
Template Code

Usage
Necromancer's Spear is one of the less complicated spears. Most of your weapons skills build up stacks of a powerful lifesteal buff called
Soul Shards that caps at six stacks. consumes these stacks for a burst of damage and healing. and generate four and two stacks, respectively, so these are used for the first . generates six stacks, and so it is used both to recharge, and power the second . You may gain different numbers of stacks depending on the number of enemies nearby, but this doesn't change your rotation.
Rotation
You want to cast both your Weapon Spells off cooldown while close to allies. You also want to cast off cooldown, but bear in mind that the attack happens around your spirit, so make sure it is next to your target. The other F-skills can be saved for utility.
Opener
Start on Greatsword
- and - make sure not to cast these two early in raids, as the stacks will be removed by the boon strip
- to trigger
Shroud Loop
The Shroud Loop is the same each time. causes your spirits to perform an extra attack if they're not still using their summon attack, so you want to use at least two autos between and . At the same time, you want the attack from to be finished in time to cast a second time without delaying it, which means using no more than three autos here.
- - Cast this first both to get the debuff on your target, and because we want to cast it twice before exiting Shroud
- x2
- until Anguish is ready
Greatsword-to-Spear Loop
You want to cast as soon as you can, but otherwise the skill order doesn't matter on Greatsword as long as you don't interrupt the auto chain.
- - use whenever it is available
- ⇒ ⇒ - This resets Gravedigger so don't interrupt it
Weapon Swap- - make sure Perforate has finished casting or this won't reset its cooldown
- Return to Shroud Loop
Spear-to-Greatsword Loop
You want to cast as soon as you can, but otherwise the skill order doesn't matter on Greatsword as long as you don't interrupt the auto chain.
- - make sure Perforate has finished casting or this won't reset its cooldown
Weapon Swap- ⇒ ⇒ - This resets Gravedigger so don't interrupt it
- Return to Shroud Loop
Below 50%
When your target is below 50% health, replace the auto chain on Greatsword with three s (so you're using five each time).
