Overview

Shortbow Duelist Scrapper is a defensive based high damage dealing duelist build with great self sustain and minor team supporting abilitys. In team fights you also provide your team with minor supporting healing, Protection Protection, Might Might & Fury Fury uptime. While on side-node you can comfortablity keep yourself alive even once outnumbered.

Usage

  • This build is for taking outnumbers, side-noding and providing minor team support. This build is strong at ranged but is much more deadly when used at melee.

How to Play

Use Function Gyro for Swiftness Swiftness.

Pressure for a range using Shortbow Shortbow, Elixir Gun & Throw Wrench. You're strongest when at melee range because you'll receive bonus' from landing shortbow skills such as Protection Protection. Being in close range allows you to land your most damaging skills: Acid Bomb, Pry Bar & Smack. Being close range is also beneficially for Elite Mortar Kit allowing you to land these soft CC skills much easier.

Damage

This build is quite strong from ranged but it becomes even more deadly when fighting melee.

  • Throw Wrench - The x2 hit does more base damage than Grenade Barrage and this is the strongest move on your build. A semi-reliable option is to cast Glob Shot/Essence of Borrowed Time/Magnet -> Throw Wrench at 600-850 range. Otherwise use Throw Wrench's tracking properties to the player to connect both hits.
  • Acid Bomb - Unblockable melee skill with very good burst damage.
  • Smack - The damage is very good don't overlook this autoattack. The 3rd chain is massively rewarding if you manage to hit it.
  • Mortar Shot - A suprisingly high damage skill. Can be used inbetween combos and combos well with Shortbow Shortbow skills.
  • Explosive Entrance + Essence of Liquid Wrath -> Pry Bar -> Acid Bomb: This a fast but massively damaging combo without any need for CCs. First 3 skills will land about the same time making it hard to avoid and doing > 10k consistantly. This combo becomes even more deadly when proceeded by a CC.

Sustain

This build has: massive sources of regeneration, 2 stunbreaks, block, invuln, stealth and stability.

  • Defence: High uptime Protection Protection, Elixir S, Toss Elixir S, Gear Shield Mass Momentum Frost Aura Frost Aura & Flash Shell
  • Regeneration: High uptime Regeneration Regeneration, Big Boomer, Compounding Chemicals, Backpack Regenerator & Impact Savant
  • Healing: Essence of Living Shadows, Super Elixir & Elixir Shell(With blast finishers this skill can heal up to 3900 exta)
  • Stunbreaks: Elixir S & Healing Mist

Mobility

Although this is the builds weak point, you have enough options to retain viablitiy.

  • Superspeed Superspeed yourself | Cripple Cripple enemies: Essence of Borrowed Time & Speed of Synergy | Endothermic Shell & Box of Nails
  • Acid Bomb - If you about face before this skill you can use it to quickly travel fowards, building distance between you and perpetrators.
  • Use Function Gyro for Swiftness Swiftness from blast finisher combos. After you enter fights you will usually have enough Swiftness Swiftness.
