Quick Guide

  • Start fights in Fire Attunement
  • In general follow the following attunement priority
  1. Air Attunement
  2. Fire Attunement
  3. Earth Attunement
  4. Water Attunement
  • Save Arcane Echo for Wildfire
  • Any time you are in air use Lightning Strike and Blinding Flash freely, they are instant casts and will not interrupt Overload Air
  • Wait to cast Lightning Orb until right before Overload Air to increase burst
  • Get out of Earth Attunement and Water Attunement as soon as possible via Fresh Air so you can use Overload Air again
    • Dust Storm and Shatterstone are the only skills worth regularly casting in either attunement



General

  • As soon as you get 25 stacks of Sigil of Superior Sigil of Bloodlust and get out of combat, swap back to the Warhorn without a stacking sigil

  • Your highest priority is to use Overload Air and Overload Fire as often as possible
    • Never use Overload Water or Overload Earth
  • When Fire Attunement is off cooldown use it as your second highest priority behind Air Attunement
  • If Fire Attunement is on CD and you've finished Overload Air swap into Earth Attunement or Water Attunement to proc Fresh Air so you can get back into Air Attunement
    • Dust Storm and Shatterstone are the only skills worth regularly casting in either attunement
      • Remember that you can swap attunement after starting any non-overload skill and it will finish casting in the new attunement
  • Glyph of Storms should be used in Fire
  • Use Conjure Fiery Greatsword while Fire Attunement is on CD immediately after casting Overload Air
    • Cast Firestorm, then use Fiery Whirl if you're in a good position for it, then immediately drop the conjure
    • Make sure to swap to Earth Attunement or Water Attunement to proc Fresh Air
  • Save Arcane Echo for Wildfire
  • Any time you are in air use Lightning Strike and Blinding Flash freely, they are instant casts and will not interrupt Overload Air
  • Wait to cast Lightning Orb until right before Overload Air to increase burst


CC

CC skill List Toggle
  • Use your CC when:
    • Your group calls a spike such as Wells (Well of Corruption)
    • On top of enemy downs (while alive enemies are on top of them)
    • Enemy groups move defensively while your group is pushing
  • In general you shouldn't prioritize CCing over doing damage, but for Cyclone it is easy to fit in casts while waiting for Overload Air to charge

Boon Support

  • Dust Storm provides AoE Resistance Resistance
  • If you have downtime Sand Squall is worth casting, but don't bother interrupting damage to use it
