4 Minute Daily Dragon Bash Gold Farming Guide

Overview

A Dragon Bash gold making guide for Guild Wars 2 that prioritizes brief daily sessions for maximum profit instead of endless farming. A full run should only take you ~4 minutes each day and net you about 10-12 gold. This guide is for those who don't want to spend too much time interacting with the Dragon Bash event but wish to get the most out of it.

The Daily Routine

We have 2 key objectives:

• Maxing out the 2 adventures in Hoelbrak, getting gold medal on both Pinata Smasher and the mount race.
• Completing the daily meta achievement Dragon Basher, focusing only on the easiest and least time consuming dailies. Our goal is to get the daily meta done every day, the daily achievement rewards are secondary.

Mounts

The Roller Beetle mount will be used in the guide. While you can rent one in Hoelbrak too, that costs 10s each time, so owning one instead of having to rent could save you a bit of gold over time.

Daily Achievements

Much of the daily routine centers around picking the easiest dailies each day. You have to do a total of 3 daily achievements to complete the daily meta achievement, Dragon Basher - this is the important part, as on the 5th completion of the meta achievement itself we get a lootbox, from which we can grab 5 Jorbreakers.

We suggest you do Elder Taffy + 2 of the others from this list each day.

Elder Taffy

The Elder Taffy achievement doesn't rotate, it's available every day. This is by far the easiest one, simply consume 25 .

While consuming the Zhaitaffy instead of selling it cuts into our profits a bit, if you want to be done with the daily as fast as possible, this is always an option. Depending on the market, you may even gain a few silvers from doing this daily instead of going in the red.

Aim For The Sky

This is either one of the best dailies or a medicore one, depending on whether you can take a shortcut or not.

Traditionally you'd have to do it in Hoelbrak and find 10 different firework launchers to use, which involves a lot of traveling. A better method however is to use either the Guild Hall or Homestead decoration version of the Dragon Bash Firework Launcher - this one has no cooldown. If you have the opportunity to use one of those, go for it, and suddenly it becomes one of the best dailies.

Dragon Slapper

Dragon Slapper shouldn't take more than a minute or two and you can earn Zhaitaffy while doing it. Simply follow the route outlined below, but starting at any corner of the map is fine, just make your way to the central ring of Hoelbrak. You should find your 15 pinatas on the way.

Moa Master

Keep an eye out for this while doing other activities - the Moa race isn't always up! To guarantee a win for the achievement, bet on every Moa in the race. This will cost more, but you still make a profit, and your reward is guaranteed.

Paper Smasher & Beetle Racer

Getting an adventure as the daily is one of the best things that can happen, since we'd do the adventures anyways.

Daily Bonuses

Pinata Smashing

Even if Dragon Slapper isn't the daily for a given day, you should still smash at least 1 pinata in Hoelbrak. The first one gives a bonus of 20 Zhaitaffy each day.

Activities

We want to do both activities once and get the gold medal on them. These can be done in 90 seconds each, or less.

Pinata Bashing

The goal is to smash 19 pinatas within the time limit.

Use skill 3 to move around the map, skill 2 to pick a landing point mid-air. Minimize walking.

Only use skill 1 if you've missed your target, as landing on top of a pinata with skill 2 crushes it.

Crushing a pinata recharges your skills, except for the one you smashed the pinata with.

Mount Racing

Time Trial: Dragon Bash Rally

You must finish this in 90 seconds. A roller beetle is highly recommended, even if you have to rent it for 10 silver at the nearby asura.

Dragon Basher

Completing the daily meta achievement 5 times rewards us with a Dragon Bash Victory Coffer, from which we can pick 5 Jorbreakers.

This is a huge boost to our profits, and the main reason why we even want to do dailies in the first place.

Daily Profit

On average, we're looking at:

• 200

• 18 Dragon Coffer

• 1 Jorbreaker

This should net us 10-12 gold on the Trading Post for 4 minutes of effort.
