Longtime engineer main, have played GW2 since the closed betas in 2012 and played GW1 before then.

My main goal currently is to create engineer builds that lean more towards the pre-HoT days, before Hugh Norton nerfed my beloved builds. Current favorite is a 4-kit scrapper build that is similar to a build I played on stream with Hugh Norton when the Mercenary Amulet existed. It was met with the comment "That build is not okay", in response to 1v5'ing the enemy team on Stillness.
