The easiest, low stress, quickness boon support necromancer build ever.  Easy to hit 95-100% quickness uptime, depending on how badly the mechanics make you run around away from others, while still yielding respectable condition damage for a boon support role (but not best).  The build takes advantage of Superior Rune of the Firebrand's massive Quickness-specific duration bonuses (40%) and {{Trait|Deathly Haste}} and {{Trait|Twisted Medicine}} to make quickness super easy to provide.  As long as you can enter shroud you are providing the quickness boon.  Everything that happens outside of shroud is secondary.

Overview

The easiest, low stress, quickness boon support necromancer build ever while allowing significant flexibility in skills and weapons. Easy to hit 95-100% quickness uptime, depending on how badly the mechanics make you run around away from others, while still yielding respectable condition damage for a boon support role (but not best). The build takes advantage of Superior Rune of the Firebrand's massive Quickness-specific duration bonuses (40%) and Deathly Haste and Twisted Medicine to make quickness super easy to provide. As long as you can enter shroud you are providing the quickness boon. Everything that happens outside of shroud is secondary. Plague Sending allows for condi cleansing and damage especially when paired with Master of Corruption and Blood Is Power. Eternal Life provides all the Life Force needed.

Weapon Variants

  • When using Eternal Life or Signet of Undeath the empty offhand can stay empty or filled with a role-specific offhand of your choice. For example, dagger for more condi cleanse and bleed, focus for more boon strip. Warhorn for more CC. Sword for more AOE and Life force generation. None of the 3 base weapons are mandatory but provide good coverage of condition damage, boon support, and CC.

Usage

Precast

  1. Throw Elixir of Promise to generate Blight stacks.

Opener

  1. Elixir of Ambition
  2. Signet of Spite
  3. Blood Is Power immediately followed with Harbinger Shroud
  4. Priority order Vital Draw (only if CC isn't necessary, otherwise keep it in reserve) don't wait for the animation to finish before casting the next ability -> Dark Barrage
  5. Cast either Voracious Arc (for single target or CC break) or Devouring Cut (for Cleave) but not both. Avoid overspending Blight Stacks since this will significantly reduce the damage bonus from Septic Corruption
  6. Make sure the Shroud auto attack Tainted Bolts is firing when waiting for the next ability to come off cooldown
  7. Repeat the shroud skills until you have drained all life force to build up the quickness duration as high as possible.
  8. Weapon Loop

Weapon Loop

  1. Out of Shroud is basically 1 pass through all skills off cooldown, both sets of weapon abilities, the elite, all utilities. Eazy Peazy. The only item to worry about is Blood Is Power. Don't use that unless you can immediately follow it with Dagger 4, Shroud, or Plague Signet otherwise healers using their condi cleanses can strip your self-inflicted conditions before they are transferred to your target, lowering your dps.
  2. Use any Utility abilities off cd other than Blood Is Power
  3. Weapon 5->4->3->2
  4. Weapon Swap Weapon Swap
  5. Weapon 5->4->3->2
  6. Blood Is Power (if its off cooldown) immediately followed by Shroud Loop

Shroud Loop

  1. If Blood Is Power is off CD use it immediately before entering Shroud, but don't delay shroud to wait for it.
  2. The goal now is 10 seconds in shroud, 10 seconds out, to take advantage of the 10% damage buff from Soul Barbs.
  3. Priority order Vital Draw (only if CC isn't necessary, otherwise keep it in reserve) don't wait for the animation to finish before casting the next ability -> Dark Barrage.
  4. Cast either Voracious Arc (for single target or CC break) or Devouring Cut (for Cleave) but not both. It's easier keep track of when to exit shroud when using one and not to overspend on Blight when only using one and not both.
  5. Make sure the Shroud auto attack Tainted Bolts is firing when waiting for the next ability to come off cooldown
  6. Repeat the above priority order until you have done 3 Dark Barrage's then exit Shroud
  7. Weapon Loop
