Introduction
This page sets out the budget equipment required to play a core condition elementalist (still in the fire wizard style).
This equipment can all be purchased directly from the trading post once you reach level 80.

Equipment
Budget Equipment - the 8 gold core condition elementalist!
This equipment set up is aimed at entirely new players who have just hit level 80 and are therefore looking to buy their first set of gear cheaply off the trading post. This is not intended to be the optimal set up but rather a very effective build to develop and upgrade in the future.
To gear this build you will want to search the specific stats on the trading post and buy the exotic versions of the armour and trinkets (note back will be rare but that's ok!). See additional notes below.

Generally you will be looking for the following:
- Upgrade all of your trinkets with Exquisite Chrysocola Jewels
Weapons
Search for the specific carrion stats (condition damage, vitality, power) on the trading post and purchase the cheapest option
For your scepter will be the cheapest of the following:
For your focus you will want to buy the cheapest of the following:
For sigils you will want to purchase:
- Superior Sigil of Smoldering
- Superior Sigil of Earth
- If you do have spare gold you can invest in a more expensive Superior Sigil of Bursting) to replace your sigil of earth.
Armour
- Acquire your helm by purchasing the Ice Golem's Maw Box which gives you a stat selectable helm.
- You can additionally upgrade the shoulders to vipers for a few extra gold by purchasing Shoulders of the Ebon Vanguard Choice Chest if you have spare gold
- For the rest of your armour buy Ogden's armour - just search Ogden's on the trading post
- Purchase 6 Superior Runes of Balthazar from the trading post
Trinkets
You will want to buy:
- Carrion Amulet and 1 Exquisite Chrysocola Jewels to insert into the amulet
- Search for level 80 exotic accessories with condition damage and purchase any 2 of Fang of Tequatl or Bone Fragments of Tequatl and 2 x Exquisite Chrysocola Jewels to insert into the accessories
- Alternately if you have additional gold you can invest in the more expensive 2 x Chrysocola Orichalcum Earrings
- 2 x exotic Carrion Ring & 2 x Exquisite Chrysocola Jewels to insert into the rings
- There are no cheap exotic backpieces available so you will be reliant on either buy a super cheap masterwork Charred Back Warmer to keep you going initially, rely on a lucky drop, craft a backpiece with most crafting professions, or relying on the backpack you can drop from the story: Rampagers Spineguard of Coral which drops from step 8 of the level 80 personal story - make sure you select the right one!
