- - higher uptime on important boons.
- - potentially higher uptime of 10% extra damage than what Fireworks provides, but you have less control over it (if you're chasing a target or you don't want to stop doing damage then it becomes harder to proc).
Consumables
Food
- - food equivalent of Celestial, boosts all stats and reduces strike damage taken. All around great option for a build that needs a bit of tankiness while constantly pumping out damage.
- - same stats as the other food but reduces the duration of incoming conditions instead of reducing strike damage taken.
- - more endurance regen translates to more dodges in combat.
Utility
- or .
Usage
General
- Most of the damage on the build comes from camping .
- counts as a healing skill and therefore applies superspeed. Another elixir toolbelt with a similar effect is . These are great at both sticking to targets and escaping from them.
- applies Quickness on a 20s ICD, which lines up with the CD of perfectly.
- There's not a whole lot of cleansing in the build, most of it comes from swapping in and out of to proc every ~9 seconds.
- Hammer mostly fills a defensive role although it has good damage. Use it to block, evade, and reflects attacks.
- activates on and .
- Elixirs remove conditions.
Ratings
This is one of those builds that seems bonkers on paper, but ends up being underwhelming in practice. You get rolling 25 Might, Stability, Fury (100% crit rate!) and Swiftness with access to Quickness and Super Speed in >10 second batches per ~20 second interval. Cool, right? Well, the problem is you're using Flamethrower. Flamethrower is just not that good, even with all these boons carrying *and* the removal of Retaliation. Regardless, it's genuinely a lot of fun to mess with and you might catch someone off-guard with all those boons on you. I personally get more value out of Supply Drop as an elite, but Sneak Gyro is fine as-is. The gear chosen leaves minor room for min/maxing with things like mixed Marauder/Dragon's, optional Rune of Durability (Pack is fine), Potent Lucent Oil instead of Fruitcake, et al. Really wish I could give this build exactly 3.5 stars. It's barely good enough, but a meme more than anything else.
Another one of those builds that don't look like much but can be surprisingly effective. Very chill build, doesn't get more beginner friendly than this and will work just fine in most cases. If you intend to play WvW a bit more competitively though then maybe you should pick something else. For just some casual roaming this is perfect however, especially if you want to focus on taking camps. It's a 3/5 against players but a 5/5 when it comes to flipping camps.
