Detailed Explanations
Healing
- General
- Use and Weapon Swap as often as possible to recharge your dodge for
- Alliance
- Healing from is around the player character, not at the blast location
- Be careful with the forced movement on , turn your character before casting to aim towards a safe area
can proc three times in one cast, making it your most efficient heal
- Aim
- Delay casting until an ally has taken damage
to hit focus targets or allies caught in spikes
- Other than your heals are very short range, move in close when needed but otherwise you can stay slightly behind the group
- Use just before leaving Alliance or at any point you are being pressured/targeted
should be activated as soon as you enter Alliance
- Avoid using in Alliance
- Ventari
- In general your energy should be spent on , swapping to if cleanse is needed or for CC if your group is spiking and support isn't needed
- Using to empower your tablet is not worth it compared to spending the energy on the other tablet skills
|
Condition clear
- Alliance
- Your condition clear mainly comes attached to Immobilize on players caught in enemy spikes , use it to to clear
- Use Immobilize when you don't have time to cast , such as when crossing through the enemy or if it is on cooldown to clear
- Ventari
- is a large condition clear but costs a lot of energy, if possible let other supports cleanse while you focus your resources on healing
CC
- Only prioritize CC against enemies lacking Stability, make sure to watch enemy buff bars
- Be careful not to knock enemies out of spikes with
- Use as your group crosses through the enemy or to disrupt rezzes
- is worth casting on spikes but only if your group is not in need of healing/cleanse
Settings
- Under General Options / User Interface check Always show squad health bars and Always show party health bars. These will make it much easier to keep track of who needs your support.
- Also under General Options / User Interface turn on Thick party health bars
- Thick squad health bars can be used too as a matter of personal preference, but is not recommended for large numbers
- Under Squad Options check View as a grid. This will allow you to keep track of your allies' health, enabling a better decision-making and skill management.
Ratings
Post 06/28/2023 nerfs the Ventari Vindicator remains a top tier supporter, with outstanding healing, good condition cleansing, and great boon support. The addition of stability to Energy Expulsion means that Ventari Vindicator is the best secondary provider of stability for a party in the Healer/Cleanser role. However, Ventari Vindicator is not particularly easy to play and requires good micromanagement of the tablet as well as the ability to rotate quickly and effectively between legends to best take advantage of the energy gain from Charged Mists.
