Opener
A class's opener can be very important for establishing rotation loops and front-loading damage so that enemies die before they are able to kill you. A simple and very effective opener for Condi Druid in open world follows:
- Weapon Swap
- (Copies your boons to your pet)
- until is off cooldown
- x2
- Drop Celestial Avatar
From here, fill with priority skills until you can cast
again, then swap back to Shortbow and begin the Rotation listed below.A good way to remember this rotation is to use your utility skills, Shortbow 2+4+3 then weapon swap to Axe/Torch, use 5+2+3, enter Celestial Avatar for 5 + 2 + 3, 1 until you can use 2 again, 1 a few more times, drop Avatar and fill with your big skills.
Rotation
Condition Druid has a primarily priority-based rotation depending on the weapon set. While casting
off cooldown, follow this priority:- Shortbow
- + 5 / 2
- Axe/Torch
- + 5 / 2
In general, you should focus on using Celestial Avatar when it is off cooldown, use 5, 2, and 3, then drop it while executing the rest of your rotation.
Quick Draw
If using Quick Draw, the priority of certain skills changes drastically. When utilizing the Quick Draw buff, always prioritize the following skills above others:
This also allows for you to stay in
longer for a second cast of , rather than dropping it after the normal rotation. This assists greatly with cleave, since you can reduce the cooldown of strong cleave skills such as and .Defense
- - evade
- - lots of self-healing, especially with the heal-hybrid variants.
