Usage

Damage/CC

  • Your main sources of damage are your dodges and greatsword skills. Priority is placed on Eternity's Requiem and dodges, while Mist Unleashed and Phantom's Onslaught are used as fillers in between auto attacks. If in Shiro, keepImpossible Odds up and when in Jalis, maintain Vengeful Hammers.
  • For CC, using a Staff and Surge of the Mists is the best option, combined with Forced Engagement. Those two skills combined break most CC bars easily.

Survivability

  • Inspiring Reinforcement can be used to provide area Stability Stability.
  • Your main sources of healing are your two healing skills as well as passive sources of healing from Rapid Flow, Dance of Death or Steadfast Rejuvenation if you decide to use them.
  • Imperial Guard is a short-cooldown block that you can (and should) use instead of dodging to avoid incoming damage. This is because your dodges should be timed so that you maintain the passive benefits from either Forerunner of Death or Vassals of the Empire.
  • Both elite skills should only be used as a last resort when other sources of CC or defense are not available.
  • If using Legendary Alliance Stance:
    • Battle Dance is an evade that also grants resistance and regeneration
    • Tree Song can be used to remove multiple allies from yourself or allies as well as providing some healing and endurance gain when removing conditions.
    • Awakening is an AoE Stunbreak that also grants protection

Dodge goes ungabunga. There's something oddly satisfying about squishing mobs just by falling on them. Vindi never stops pumping damage and it has great AoE to boot with fairly high sustain. I've been using this with minor tweaks since EoD for all the story content and metas.

I've been toying with this build a lot, and honestly it gets the job done fairly well, especially with the suggested sigil of stamina. If you chain your dodges well enough, considering you apply MASSIVE vunlerability, you can usually avoid a LOT of damage while cleaning up nicely. This is currently one of my favorite open world build, between the decent sustain on Saint Viktor skills (I personally run some celestial for survivability), utility of Achemorus' abilities (that dash is no joke, even if it has a decent cost, on top of the aoe stun) plus the and massive potential to avoid damage between the Greatsword counter + dodge, it's very satisfying to play. I honestly play with the traits here and there, but I never have felt the need to even go Retribution for survivability (although if you struggle, you could possibly swap Invocation for Retribution, as suggested, since I think Devastation brings much more damage to the table, it feels)
