Usage

General

This build heavily relies on its dodges, so ensuring you maintain Vigor Vigor is critical for both damage and defense.

Damage

As this build camps a single weapon we can boil the basic priority of skills down into two sections based on which legend is currently equipped. Focus on maintaining enough energy to use higher priority skills, and cut out low priority skills if energy is low. Use Energy Meld when low on energy. More dodges is good.

Alliance Stance

  1. Dodge - Maintain Forerunner of Death at all times by dodging before it expires. If you find yourself with full energy, dodge.
  2. Spear of Archemorus - Use this immediately as you enter Alliance.
  3. Scavenger Burst - This is only used to maintain some measure of Quickness Quickness uptime. Use this once when you enter Alliance and once before leaving it.
  4. Eternity's Requiem
  5. Mist Unleashed
  6. Fill gaps with auto-attacks and dodges.

Assassin Stance

  1. Dodge - Maintain Forerunner of Death at all times by dodging before it expires. If you find yourself with full energy, dodge.
  2. Impossible Odds - Maintain this at all times.
  3. Eternity's Requiem
  4. Mist Unleashed
  5. Fill gaps with auto-attacks and dodges.

Dwarf Stance

  1. Dodge - Maintain Forerunner of Death at all times by dodging before it expires. If you find yourself with full energy, dodge.
  2. Vengeful Hammers - Maintain this at all times.
  3. Eternity's Requiem
  4. Mist Unleashed
  5. Fill gaps with auto-attacks and dodges.
  6. If you must, use some energy to make use of Dwarf's incredible utility. It is sometimes beneficial to sacrifice some DPS for this reason. See the Defense and CC sections for more details.

Defense

The base build features very little practical defense, as Saint Viktor's abilities are rather lackluster. This build's incredible number of dodges are its primary defensive option. If more defense is needed, it is highly recommended to swap Legendary Assassin Stance to Legendary Dwarf Stance, as Jalis features several incredibly powerful defensive skills. This will result in a small DPS loss but in some content can be incredibly powerful.

CC

This build features very little reliable CC. If extra CC is needed, it is recommended to use a United Legions Waystation EMP or to swap to Dwarf Stance.

  • Surge of the Mists - 150-1350 depending on number of impacts
  • Forced Engagement - 300

Dodge goes ungabunga. There's something oddly satisfying about squishing mobs just by falling on them. Vindi never stops pumping damage and it has great AoE to boot with fairly high sustain. I've been using this with minor tweaks since EoD for all the story content and metas.

I've been toying with this build a lot, and honestly it gets the job done fairly well, especially with the suggested sigil of stamina. If you chain your dodges well enough, considering you apply MASSIVE vunlerability, you can usually avoid a LOT of damage while cleaning up nicely. This is currently one of my favorite open world build, between the decent sustain on Saint Viktor skills (I personally run some celestial for survivability), utility of Achemorus' abilities (that dash is no joke, even if it has a decent cost, on top of the aoe stun) plus the and massive potential to avoid damage between the Greatsword counter + dodge, it's very satisfying to play. I honestly play with the traits here and there, but I never have felt the need to even go Retribution for survivability (although if you struggle, you could possibly swap Invocation for Retribution, as suggested, since I think Devastation brings much more damage to the table, it feels)
