Power Untamed focuses on the trait Let Loose to spam Unleashed Ambushes which are empowered to provide a little Quickness. This creates good windows of burst damage.

Usage

You have control over your pet's attacks. Set to auto cast with control+mouse 2 the skills that focus on doing damage, and leave on manual control the skills that focus on utility or crowd control so you can use them when needed.

Your goal is to create windows of burst through Let Loose, which gives both Might and Quickness when you use an Unleashed Ambush, which you're going to use twice per weapon swap. This is possible because this trait resets the cooldown of Unleashed Ambushes when you weapon swap.

The general idea is to have the pet unleashed, send it to attack the enemy with Venomous Outburst, then use Unleash Ranger to unleash yourself and use your Unleashed Ambush. With axe that's Sundering Volley and with hammer that's Relentless Whirl. Then, use your weapon skills. When weapon swap is almost ready, Unleash Pet then Unleash Ranger and use your Unleashed Ambush. Then, weapon swap and use once more your Unleashed Ambush. In summary, you start and finish each weapon swap with your Unleashed Ambush.

You want to spend as little time as possible with your pet unleashed because you lose the damage bonus of Vow of the Untamed. Use that little time to cast your pet's F1,2,3 skills, then Unleash Ranger again.

A general rotation regardless of weapon goes as follows:

1. Start with the pet unleashed. Send the pet to attack with Venomous Outburst and use Unleash Ranger.
2. Unleashed Ambush Sundering Volley or Relentless Whirl.
3. Use all your weapon skills now that you have quickness and might. Then, autoattack.
4. When weapon swap is almost ready, use Unleash Pet and cast whatever F1,2,3 skills are ready, and Unleash Ranger.
5. Unleashed Ambush Sundering Volley or Relentless Whirl
6. Weapon swap and repeat from step 2

Defense and sustain

• Unleashed Ambush heal you a little thanks to Natural Fortitude.
• If a big attack is coming and you can't avoid it, use Unleash Pet to reduce incoming damage thanks to Vow of the Untamed.
• Block projectiles with Enveloping Haze or reflect them with Whirling Defense.
