Runes

  • Rune of Superior Rune of Speed - If you need mobility more than the extra cleanse and carapace.

Consumables

  • Food:
  • Utility:

Usage

General

  • All of your Signets are active while in Shroud and are off cooldown by the time you leave it due to Signets of Suffering so be sure to use them before you enter Shroud.
  • Your life force gain consists of your Marks, Signet of Undeath and Spectral Armor, you can use Spectral Armor before entering Shroud too to make it even more durable and heal back all the life force.
  • Your Sigils allow you to steal lots of boons when interrupting enemies with Reaper's Mark or Wail of Doom.
  • Try to proc Sigil of Superior Sigil of Celerity before you go into Shroud or do a long cast.

Damage

  • Your main damage source will be spamming Life Blast.
  • Your burst will consist of using Life Blast in combination with Fear Fear to do damage spikes because of Sigil of Superior Sigil of Celerity.

Sustain

  • The main point of the build is the passive sustain, your Signets work while in Shroud, allowing you to heal back both health, and life force passively while in Shroud. You want to sit in shroud while you heal back all your health with Signet of Vampirism and Unholy Sanctuary to then gain back all your life force while out of shroud which Signet of Undeath helps with massively, this allows you to go back and forth between health bars while replenishing them.
  • This build should be almost invulnerable to general condition builds due to the massive amount of cleanses it has with Shrouded Removal, Plague Signet, Putrid Mark and Spiteful Renewal in combination with Rune of Superior Rune of Antitoxin.
  • The build utilises Carapace from Death Magic to get a ridiculous amount of toughness for free, you gain Carapace for example whenever you cleanse a condition with Shrouded Removal, which utilizes the condition clear listed above perfectly to gain more general damage reduction too making this build extremely durable.
  • Life Siphon can act as a secondary heal skill.

Strong duelist, absolute unit and extremely tanky against all forms of pressure, but plagued by the usual necro problems. If any enemy wants to run away, they will, you can't really stop them or chase them (aside from a few conditions that could help) and if you get into trouble there's no escape for you either. Slow attacks easily get blinded, and it gets ragdolled around by CC.

Dodged all the PvP nerfs so i don't see it getting nerfed anytime soon for WvW, lacks mobility but can win/stave off any 1v1.
