Bladesworn's rotation follows a basic structure, but the exact skills used each loop can vary. The complete loop looks as follows:

# {{Skill|Gunstinger}}, if available

# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}

# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}
# {{Skill|Tactical Reload}}, if available and you did not use {{Skill|Gunstinger}} this loop

# {{Skill|Throw Axe}}, if you did not use either {{Skill|Gunstinger}} or {{Skill|Tactical Reload}}
+
# {{Skill|Throw Axe}}
# {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}
+
# Proceed to '''Loop'''
# {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}

# {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}}, or {{tooltip|Artillery Slash}} if {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}} is not available

# {{Skill|Sheathe Gunsaber}}

It would be slightly more optimal to move {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} to after step 5 in the rotation, but as it is a priority skill it will interrupt the cast time of the previous skill if used too early so you would need very good timing for it to be reliable.

Use {{Skill|Flow Stabilizer}} and {{Skill|Tactical Reload}} off cooldown.

Most of the above loop is the same each time, but you use one extra skill depending on what is available. {{Skill|Gunstinger}} will be available every other loop and the non-gunstinger loops will alternate between using {{Skill|Tactical Reload}} and an extra {{Skill|Throw Axe}}. i.e. the pattern of extra skills is:
+
# {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}
+
# {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}
+
# {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}}
+
# {{tooltip|Blooming Fire}}
+
# Spam all charges of {{tooltip|Artillery Slash}}
+
# {{tooltip|Swift Cut}} → {{tooltip|Steel Divide}} → {{tooltip|Explosive Thrust}}
+
# {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}}
+
# {{Skill|Overcharged Cartridges}}
+
# {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}
+
# {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}
+
# {{Skill|Dragonspike Mine}}
+
# {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}
+
# {{tooltip|Flicker Step}} back into melee range
+
# {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}
+
# {{Skill|Sheathe Gunsaber}}
+
# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}
+
# {{Skill|Cyclone Axe}}
+
# {{Skill|Gunstinger}}
+
# {{Skill|Chop}} → {{Skill|Double Chop}} → {{Skill|Triple Chop}}

# {{Skill|Throw Axe}}

# {{Skill|Throw Axe}}
# {{Skill|Gunstinger}}
+
# {{Skill|Overcharged Cartridges}}
# {{Skill|Tactical Reload}}
+
# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}
# {{Skill|Gunstinger}}
+
# Return to start of '''Loop'''

The pattern then repeats from the start. Although {{Skill|Tactical Reload}} is available in the first loop, {{Skill|Throw Axe}} is used instead because it is more efficient to use {{Skill|Tactical Reload}} when you have zero charges of {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}} rather than one. You only need consider this in the very first loop of the rotation though.

Outside of the opener, the exact order of skills actually isn't that important, though the rotation above was chosen for the following reasons:
+
[https://youtu.be/_WhHbZikeZk Video example]
* We want to use {{Skill|Gunstinger}} before {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} both to front-load damage, but also to prevent {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} sitting at maximum charges.

* {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} will interrupt the cast time of skills other than {{Skill|Gunstinger}} if used too early. So it is safer to use it as early as possible to avoid this.

* As you sometimes want to use {{Skill|Throw Axe}} twice in one loop, the first use should come before the auto chain so that it is off cooldown again.

* While charging {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}, you can use {{tooltip|Triggerguard}} and/or {{tooltip|Flicker Step}} to generate extra charges of {{trait|Fierce as Fire}}, to ensure you are at 10 stacks for {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}.

** If there is any danger of you getting interrupted while in {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}, you can forgo this step so they are available for defence.

Incredible DPS while also providing some boon uptime for free. Can also deal great CC and the dragon trigger options add some versatility.
