Detailed Explanations

Ranged Spike

  • Casting immediately before will make both hits land at the same time
    • is the priority skill if you can't use both
  • Swap legends during at 3/4ths through the cast to activate
  • Avoid casting as groups cross each other so you aren't left behind


Sustained damage

  • Try to place in the direction your group is pushing if possible, but prioritize hitting enemies

Power Vindicator is an exceptional DPS'er capable of very high dps in both ranged and melee situations. It retains great ranged spike capabilities with hammer #2 and #3 and adds the high damage, low recharge Scavenger Burst as an additional source of ranged damage. Vindicator Greatsword is simply the best Revenant weapon set for melee cleave and spike damage and excels in that regards. Power Vindicator retains the utility of Jalis Stance and gains a different set of utilities through Alliance Stance which allows for group stunbreaking and condi cleanse in a pinch. With a high skill level, Power Vindicator is a very reactive build that can respond to a variety of threats while imposing formidable damage on the enemy. Astounding.

This is an incredible dps build that deserves to be in the meta tier. While it does different things then herald, in a comp with good boon cover this is 100% the better pick; very comparable ranged burst but with better sustained damage and melee burst. Without a doubt the tied equal best "selfish" dps build with berserker. If your commander likes to pirateship vindi is the best dps, if your commander likes to get in melee then berserker is better. For a ''selfish" dps build vindi has insane utility as you can stunbreak, cleanse and provide stab to your party in a pinch. Additionally this is probably the most survivable dps build in the game making it a great pick for newbies.

Very strong selfish DPS. This build has great burst and sustained damage as well as excellent self boon uptime, needing only some might and possibly alacrity from its group.
