Attributes

PRIMARY
Dexterity Dexterity
+
Perception Perception
SECONDARY
Strength Strength
+
Wisdom Wisdom

Focus on Dexterity and Perception as your main attributes. These two provide most damage to your build and help Crossbow & Dagger achieve its high DPS the class is known for. Wisdom is not as good as Dexterity or Perception but still provides a bit of extra damage. The same goes for Strength as it adds a bit of damage but should remain a secondary attribute as it doesn't provide enough to make it worth investing into.

Your main focus should be on enhancing Quick FireUsed frame.webpQuick Fire, as it serves as your primary damage ability, alongside Mortal MarkUsed frame.webpMortal Mark and Selfless DiffusionUsed frame.webpSelfless Diffusion, which offers high Off-Hand Weapon Attack Chance and cooldown reduction, being an important part of playing Crossbow Dagger. As you advance, prioritize improving both Cleaving MoonlightUsed frame.webpCleaving Moonlight and Brutal IncisionUsed frame.webpBrutal Incision as they are your main damage skills in close range and will serve you well.

Meanwhile, Inject VenomUsed frame.webpInject Venom is another core part of this build as it enhances your overall damage thanks to both Destructive FangActive frame.webpDestructive Fang & Murderous EnergyActive frame.webpMurderous Energy so you should always aim to have Inject VenomUsed frame.webpInject Venom applied to targets.

As you keep upgrading your skills, your other passives shouldn't be forgotten either. Prioritize enhancing AmbidexterityActive frame.webpAmbidexterity, Assassin's InstinctsActive frame.webpAssassin's Instincts and Wrathful EdgeActive frame.webpWrathful Edge from the Dagger side of the build. Nature's PowerActive frame.webpNature's Power will also offer a great increase to your damage so don't neglect it! These upgrades provide the most substantial damage boosts, while Piercing StrikeActive frame.webpPiercing Strike can be postponed for later on.

These are the first items you should strive for after leveling as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples.

This is the gear you should be wearing during the midgame. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by grinding contracts, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important.

Crossbow: Invest 9 points into Chain Fire to increase your raw damage output and improve your kill potential. Dedicate the remaining 6 points to Move, extending your range slightly and amplifying your damage even more.

Dagger: Choosing Assassination for your Dagger is essential, as it provides a significant damage increase. Allocate the remaining 6 points into Poison to add a chance for weakening effects and additional damage to your arsenal.

  • This rotation serves as your primary DPS sequence for tackling dungeon bosses and high HP enemies such as open-world bosses but it can work perfectly well in all scenarios.
  • Start with using Inject VenomUsed frame.webpInject Venom so all your following attacks apply Thundercloud stacks before continuing with Mother Nature's ProtestUsed frame.webpMother Nature's Protest before using Fatal StigmaUsed frame.webpFatal Stigma so your Thundercloud stacks turn into raw damage at the end of the rotation. Use Mortal MarkUsed frame.webpMortal Mark for a similar effect before using Cleaving MoonlightUsed frame.webpCleaving Moonlight and Quick FireUsed frame.webpQuick Fire to both stack up poison and deal damage.
  • Use Selfless DiffusionUsed frame.webpSelfless Diffusion to lower your cooldowns before continuing with burst damage from Brutal IncisionUsed frame.webpBrutal Incision and Knife ThrowingUsed frame.webpKnife Throwing while also lowering cooldowns for another Cleaving MoonlightUsed frame.webpCleaving Moonlight and another Brutal IncisionUsed frame.webpBrutal Incision hit.

Mana ExchangeUsed frame.webpMana Exchange: This ability is utilized to keep your mana levels high by exchanging HP for Mana. Ensure to adjust your Amitoi heal settings to initiate healing at 100% instead of the default 80% HP threshold to prevent your HP from dropping too low while using this ability.

Nimble LeapUsed frame.webpNimble Leap: You should use it to reset the cooldown on your Quick FireUsed frame.webpQuick Fire and deal extra damage if you are dealing with small mobs or such.
