Wand + Sword Large Scale PvP Tank Build
- High Defense
- Can Heal itself & Others
- Bad Damage
- Low Mobility
Overview
This Sword and Wand large-scale PvP build focuses around being a frontline tank that can also heal itself and it's allies. It is perfect for players that want to play in the frontline of a zerg but also embrace a support role and aid your fellow frontline players with heals or if you are normally a dedicated healer but want to try out playing in the frontline and tanking as well.
Attributes
With this build, prioritize investing points into strength as your primary stat. Strength not only increases your maximum HP but also enhances your defensive stats, including ranged, magic, and melee defense, as well as health regeneration. Your secondary focus should be on dexterity, which boosts your evasion against ranged, magic, and melee attacks, further improves your defensive. Add any remaining points into wisdom to increase your maximum mana and mana regeneration, aiding in the upkeep of mana when using your wand abilities.
Skills
Skill Priority
As far as skills go, Counter Barrier is the most important skill to prioritize first as Counter Barrier greatly improves your Shield Block Chance. Strategic Rush is your main mobility skill and while the build isn't very mobile, it serves you well for repositioning and the decreased cooldown is fantastic when the ability is upgraded to epic. Swift Healing serves as your primary single-target healing ability and upgrading it will let you cast it twice even if at an increased mana cost. Chain Hook should be one of your top priorities as it adds a much needed bind when you pull a target using the ability.
Passives Priority
Given the use of many high-level passives, the overall cost of the build remains relatively low. Begin by prioritizing Skillful Evasion, as it reduces damage taken from targets hit by your Provoking Roar.
On the Wand side of the build you want to focus on upgrading Devotion and Emptiness, which enhances healing and reduces the cooldowns of your healing abilities. Resilient Mind will provide you with much needed mana regeneration whenever you block and should be one of your upgrade priorities.

Wand:
Investing 9 points in Recovery is the only option as it increases the healing amount you can perform while also offering extra mana regeneration. 3 remaining points can go into weaken, mainly for extra damage duration even though you'd only use the wand for healing with this build.
Sword: Investing 9 points in Provoke & Counter row to improve your defensive stats and also gain a nice chunk of Shield Block Chance. Two points should go into Boss for extra damage while the last point will go into Collision for more max HP.
Rotations
- This is your best engaging rotation when you acquire Queen Bellandir's Blade and can make use of the Quicksand ability. You start off with Immortal Pride and Blessed Barrier to improve your max health and also add an extra shield on top of yourself. Use Counter Barrier next to increase your shield block rate before finally engaging with Strategic Rush. Your aim should be catching as many people as possible using Strategic Rush and pushing them into a wall to stun if possible. If not, immediately use Annihilating Slash to summon the Quicksand effect of Queen Bellandir's Blade. Use Provoking Roar to trigger Skillful Evasion. You should use Annihilating Slash on top of the Quicksand and follow up with your Shield Survival Technique to deny any damage. Your team should be able to see your Quicksand and clean up all enemies you catch before you move again.
Stalwart Bastion: Use when going for a push with your team or when your team is getting pushed, most shotcallers will ask for this to be cast as well so pay attention.
Immortal Pride: Another ability that can serve as a great buff for yourself before engages, helping a lot by increasing your max HP.
Blessed Barrier: This spell gives you another shield on demand along with giving you a massive increase in your defenses for 6 seconds and can be used on other party members as any healing received by a shielded player is also increased.
Swift Healing: This ability serves as your primary healing tool for both yourself and your party members. However, it's important to exercise caution, especially with the second cast, as it consumes a significantly larger amount of mana.
Clay's Salvation: This is your AoE healing ability. Try to use it whenever your group mates are close together so the AoE heal can reach all of them in order for your zerg to absorb enemy DPS.
Fountain of Life: You should use this ability on pushes, putting it ahead of your zergs so players could pull together into it's AoE to heal themselves. You can also use this ability as a reaction to enemy pushes, putting it in the path of your retreat.
Useful Information
- Select Green Ranger Elowen as your guardian; it roots people around you and can assist in executing your rotation. Normally used right after Queen Bellandir's Blade Quicksand, the guardian provides amazing CC but with a very long cooldown.
