Overview

This PVE build is perfect for those looking to play at medium range, staying away from immediate danger while still doing incredible damage thanks to the Nameless SwordNameless Sword Vagrant SwordVagrant Sword which throws multiple waves of energy once properly set up for. Mobility isn't lacking in this build either as Daunting StrikeDaunting Strike lets you latch onto enemies and back on top of bosses as needed whenever it isn't used for pure mobility in any direction, using it to move towards or away from mechanics to avoid them. Vernal UmbrellaVernal Umbrella cannot be ignored either as its full ranged DPS is incredible while also having the opportunity for CC by using Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow.

Sword Morph
Sword Morph

Sword MorphSword Morph is a crucial Inner Way for this build, as it increases the number of waves your Vagrant SwordVagrant Sword can release. This is used right after gaining the shield from Daunting StrikeDaunting Strike. However, once upgraded, the Sword MorphSword Morph can also be used without the need for a shield, being able to use it for 5 seconds after the use of Shadow StepShadow Step.

Morale ChantMorale Chant is an excellent pick for increasing DPS, since it’s easy to stack up to five stacks and gain strong flat damage. Adding Blossom BarrageBlossom Barrage further enhances Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow by granting an extra charge while also adding an extra damage boost thanks to it. Use Breaking PointBreaking Point to debuff the boss and increase the damage done to it whenever its finally exhausted.

Mystic Skills

Talon Strike
Soaring Spin
Drunken Poet
Free Morph
Ghost Bind
Dragon's Breath
Wolflike Frenzy
Leaping Toad

Ghost BindGhost Bind is an incredibly powerful AoE CC support skill, helping you set up groups of mobs for yourself or your allies. Another strong CC option is Talon StrikeTalon Strike, which knocks down a target for easy follow-ups, like the Soaring SpinSoaring Spin for a burst of damage. Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath deals damage over time on its own while and can be stacked perfectly on bosses but also combos perfectly into Drunken PoetDrunken Poet, making the Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath debuff explode for extra damage with every hit you manage using Drunken PoetDrunken Poet.

Leaping ToadLeaping Toad is another very strong skill for PVE as it puts up a poison, does good damage and once upgraded... the poison also spreads to other enemies, creating multiple explosions for good AOE damage.
