Overview

This build focuses on doing good damage while also having good mobility thanks to the Nameless SwordNameless Sword and its latch attack, the Daunting StrikeDaunting Strike which can be used to catch enemies off guard with ease. Mix this with the ability of stunning enemies from range, fishing for possible catches that allow you to carry on with combos while the enemies are forced to either use Serene BreezeSerene Breeze or take the high damage that follows up. While this build isn't too easy to get into and takes a bit of time to learn due to the many skills that require good timing, it remains very rewarding to play as it does very well in all PVP scenarios.

Sword Morph
Sword Morph

Sword MorphSword Morph is a crucial Inner Way for this build, as it increases the number of waves your Vagrant SwordVagrant Sword can release. This greatly boosts your overall damage and gives you more chances to execute your full combo once Sword MorphSword Morph is leveled.

Morale ChantMorale Chant is an excellent choice for increasing DPS, since it’s easy to stack up to five stacks and gain strong flat damage. Adding Blossom BarrageBlossom Barrage further enhances Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow by giving it an additional charge, making it easier to catch enemies off guard and set up combos or just pair it with Spring AwaySpring Away repeatedly in order to do damage while staying at range. Since this build makes heavy use of Dual-Weapon SkillDual-Weapon Skill, Seasonal EdgeSeasonal Edge is a natural fit, adding extra damage and value every time you swap weapons.

Soaring Spin
Yaksha Rush
Leaping Toad
Serene Breeze
Dragon's Breath
Cloud Steps
Meridian Touch

The most important Mystic Skill for PVP remains Serene BreezeSerene Breeze, giving you the option to break out of CC and prevents you from getting locked down in enemy combos. Leaping ToadLeaping Toad is a solid defensive damage skill that also applies strong Qi damage. Meridian TouchMeridian Touch is great for ranged pokes and can be used to execute enemies once their Qi bar is depleted.

Cloud StepsCloud Steps is excellent for catching enemies off guard and quickly closing the gap. Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath is strong at the end of combos or after baiting opponents into your attacks, adding a DoT that helps prevent them from making a comeback. Cloud StepsCloud Steps also provides great mobility and a reliable engage tool unless blocked. To beat defensive players, use Talon StrikeTalon Strike or Yaksha RushYaksha Rush to break through Blocks and overwhelm opponents who rely heavily on block spamming.

  • First you want to catch an enemy off-guard with Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow and stun them before diving in with Daunting StrikeDaunting Strike. Don't do the entire rotation though as most of it can be blocked, instead, rely on the enemy preparing to block and use Talon StrikeTalon Strike to break through it and knock them down before using Shadow StepShadow Step to deal damage and jump back away ready to do it all over again. You can also opt for an agressive move by using Soaring SpinSoaring Spin instead for some free damage.

  • This is the loose rotation you should use when trying to keep the fight at range. Use Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow to stun a player from range before following up with Spring AwaySpring Away but make sure that you don't overextend this as it can be parried and you will lose your Qi very quickly. Use Shadow StepShadow Step to move away from the enemy and deal damage before using Vagrant SwordVagrant Sword to force the enemy back unless they are ready to take a lot of damge. This works particularly well once Sword MorphSword Morph is upgraded as you get the chance to release more waves out of Vagrant SwordVagrant Sword.
  • Use Spring SorrowSpring Sorrow again to fish for another CC and either go into the Dive-In rotation or use Shadow StepShadow Step again followed by Dragon's BreathDragon's Breath to keep your defense up.
