Bladesworn - Alacrity Support Power DPS

This is a test build. You may comment and rate it.

Focused on: Direct damage and Support

Designed for: Raids and Fractals

Difficulty:
Normal
This build was last updated on March 14, 2024.

Overview

No longer a quickness option, Bladesworn can now provide Alacrity Alacrity via Daring Dragon, though its ability to provide boons other than Alacrity Alacrity is limited.

The incredibly high base duration of the trait means that no boon duration is required and gear can be reused from Bladesworn - Power DPS, and Dragonspike Mine allows for a large buffer of Alacrity Alacrity to be built up immediately, making the build relatively efficient at handling mechanics.

It also has access to some incidental support from the Tactics traitline.

Relic
  • You want to hit 2217 precision (with a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Accuracy).
  • In strikes where the boss gets Exposed Exposed, or at Keep Construct, it would be more beneficial to swap the Sigil of Superior Sigil of Force for a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact.
  • Relic of the Thief is the best relic for players that don't own Secrets of the Obscure.

General Tips

  • The amount of Alacrity Alacrity provided is independent of the amount of charges Dragon Slash - Force Dragon Slash - Force uses, allowing you to maintain Alacrity Alacrity during downtime with minimal flow.
  • Dragon's Roar will interrupt the cast time of skills other than Gunstinger if used too early.
  • While charging Dragon Trigger, you can use Triggerguard Triggerguard and/or Flicker Step Flicker Step to correct your positioning or prevent getting knocked out of Dragon Trigger.
  • Dragon Slash - Force Dragon Slash - Force alone is over half your total damage, so it is essential not to delay Dragon Trigger. If necessary, you can skip skills in your rotation if it is already available.
