Overview

Reaper has extremely high innate survivability thanks to , and coupled with as effectively a second heal skill (As long as there are enemies within its generous 600 range - with 3 hits, it heals for nearly as much as 's active), this creates a self-sufficient build that doesn't sacrifice much in the way of damage. This build is great for solo play, open world boss farming, and breaking into Fractals. It starts off running lots of passive traits and Signets in order to have a rotation that is simple, yet effective, with the option to scale up in complexity for more damage potential as the player becomes more familiar with the class and the content.

Variants

  • - If boons are being stripped reliably and chill uptime is good
    • This will cause not to inflict vulnerability, so it should be replaced/supplemented with
  • - Passive chill and boon-strip, if running fewer Signet skills
  • - Even more passive survivability, though not doing the stance dance is a significant DPS loss
  • - If running shouts and chill uptime is good

Usage

Simple Rotation

  • Enter whenever available (Life Force >30%) and use whenever it is off cooldown
  • Outside of Shroud, use as often as possible to gain Life Force for Shroud
  • Both in and out of shroud, try not to interrupt your auto-attack chain

  • Open fights with to stack up chill and vulnerability on enemies, and use it off-cooldown to keep them stacked
  • While in Shroud: As Simple Rotation, but also use off-cooldown for survivability and CC, and for damage and CC
  • While not in Shroud: As Simple Rotation, but also use off-cooldown for damage and for Life Force and CC; spam when enemies are below 50% HP

Very good build, I liked it a lot, and as long you're willing to fight, it will have a lot of self sustain and damage. If you're farming for mats, minion is better as you can fram and move. But this is really good otherwise.
