Overview

A build that uses the fact that Barrage has no Line of Sight restrictions to easily clear siege. Not intended or a good choice for actually fighting players, use gear/build template swaps to change into Soulbeast - DPS Soulbeast or Druid - Support Druid after siege is dead.

Consumables

    • If you're playing in a group and going to swap builds, just use the food/utility for whatever build you'll swap into. This is a significant source of Might Might if solo though

Detailed Explanations

Siege Disruptors

  • Siege Disruptor Siege Disruptor reduce the damage of enemy siege by 66% and increase damage taken by 66%
  • Use of disruptors is mainly relevant to defenders, siege is unlikely to be in a place you can target with them as an attacker
  • As long as you can do so without dying, your highest priority should be throwing disruptors at any siege you want to Barrage before moving to a safe place
  • Disruptors are unblockable except by the bubbles created by catapult mastery
    • The radius of a disruptor is larger than the bubble created by catapults, target catas with the outer edge of the targeting ring to avoid it
  • Use Dolyak Stance to protect yourself when throwing a disruptor

Barrage

  • Since Barrage doesn't require LoS to the target you can position yourself behind total cover from the enemy, don't stand on a wall unless you need to
  • Keybind and use Snap Ground Target or Toggle Snap Ground Target to make it easy to aim Barrage on siege from a safe position
    • Ground AoEs like Barrage target enemies closest to their center, so snapping your ground target guarantees that your target will be hit - make sure to target the siege you want the Barrage on
    • Make sure not to snap your ground target when using a disruptor
  • Do not use the last charge of Barrage. Instead wait and Weapon Swap Weapon Swap to proc Quick Draw then use Barrage before the Quick Draw buff expires to reduce the cooldown
    • You can use the last charge as long as you'll have another by the time Weapon Swap Weapon Swap is ready again
  • Use Worldly Impact (Live Fast), "Sic 'Em!", and One Wolf Pack after casting Barrage to increase your damage
    • "Sic 'Em!" only increases damage against the target you have when you cast the skill, like barrage it does not require LoS to the target
    • Worldly Impact can be cast before Barrage for Quickness Quickness
  • Focus on whichever siege is being used against your group. For a general priority list aim for, in order:
  1. Shield Generators
  2. Arrow Carts
  3. Ballista
  4. Trebuchets
  5. Catapults
  6. Flame Rams
  7. Siege Golems

Siege

  • As a defender you should try to use siege during Barrage/Weapon Swap Weapon Swap downtime
  • Entering/exiting siege while in combat will proc Quick Draw, it does not work on siege skills so make sure to proc it with Barrage
  • Siege doesn't deal damage unless a player is using it when the siege attack lands, be careful not to get off too early
