Overview

Spellbreaker is a great all-rounder, combining high sustained damage, consistent boonrip, decent CC and good survivability thanks to Full Counter.

Specializations

• Blademaster - If you're confident that you can maintain 4+ stacks of Attacker's Insight during the periods where you don't have the Signet of Fury passive, then you can take this for a small DPS gain as you won't need the crit chance.
• Loss Aversion - On bosses that regain boons very regularly you will not gain the benefit of Sun and Moon Style, and you can reliably gain the extra damage and adrenaline for removing boons with this trait.

Relic

• For players that don't own Janthir Wilds, a Relic of the Thief is the best option.
• Against bosses that don't get Stunned, a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Air on Mace and a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Hydromancy on Axe will do more DPS than the Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impacts.
• If you're able to reliably use CC during a bosses attack animations, then Sigil of Superior Sigil of Severance will trigger, which can make it better than Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact.
• Against bosses where you can reliably remove boons (such as Qadim), Relic of Nourys may offer higher DPS. Be aware that you will also stack this relic passively in combat, so the damage buff may trigger on a moment where it's not useful.

Usage

Start on Dagger/Mace. If possible, you can precast all your signet skills before the encounter starts to stack up Signet Mastery. Make sure Signet of Fury is the last one you use, as it has its own potent buff when cast. You can repeat this trick whenever you have downtime and can't hit the boss.

As your autoattacks are very fast thanks to Dual Wielding, it can be difficult to track how many auto chains you've done. Some advice is included on when to use skills.
