Usage
General
- One of the best things about this build is the permanent Alacrity uptime.
- Alacrity uptime. gives you barrier equal to 10% of the healing you receive, which means the passive of is enough to proc every second for permanent
- Condition cleansing is on the lower end, you'll have to get by with
- also removes conditions but this should be more of a last resort option, as this is also your only real escape/chase tool.
and for the most part. Use inside Super Elixir to combo some extra condition cleansing.
- Signets maintain their passives even when they are on CD, so don't hesitate to use whenever you're missing a larger chunk of HP.
- Use on CD.
- also fires the same projectile from your Mech! This is important because it takes priority over their F1-3 skills, so if your Mech was using any of them while you press this skill, your Mech's attack will be interrupted as this one takes priority.
- If you're completely out of CDs and under pressure, try spamming Elixir Gun's Weakness could save your life. for a bit. The damage mitigation from
Mech
- is not only an excellent source of boons but also a stun break. It's one of the best defensive skills in the build.
- Use Weakness on your opponent, and it's a 600 range gapcloser in case they are kiting your Mech. on CD. This one maintains a good amount of
- Try to keep your Mech alive by sharing skills like or with them. is also great - while this doesn't cleanse conditions from you, it does from your mech.
- can pin enemies into your AoE skills such as or .
- Some enemies might try killing your Mech to render you less effective. Try to keep an eye on your Mech's HP and conditions, cleanse them with Elixir Gun's if needed. You could even consider using the active of (amongst other things) to keep the Mech going even if your HP is fine.
Ratings
This is a variation on the Mech Bunker build for PvP. Running Runes of Sanctuary leaves you with no burst in WvW and is better for a support build Mech, where you are sharing Mech boons and changing conditions with Purity of Purpose. It isn't bad for 1v1s, but the amount of time it might take you to kill someone, you will find adds enter the mix. Drop alchemy and take Firearms 233 with runes of Rata Sum. Your precision means burning gets triggered, Elixir Gun's and Explosive Knuckle's weakness hangs around much longer (best condition in game) and poison gets a boost for your Mortar, Elixir Gun and Sigil of Doom. Condition reduction food is a must, as is Sigil of Cleansing.
An absolute beast in 1v1s and can even hold its ground outnumbered. Shift Signet is a great panic button if you need to run away/reset a fight or chase down someone trying to escape. While the sustain's strong, condi cleansing is on the lower end, so fighting condi specs takes more effort and might need a bit of skill. Consistent damage is surprisingly high with cele even without proper Might tacking.
