Usage

  • Maintain Superspeed Superspeed by chaining your gyros to keep the damage bonus, Swiftness Swiftness and stability stability should mostly be supplied by your group.
  • Provide the Smoke Field and Stealth from Sneak Gyro when your commander demands it. To counter enemies stealthing, use Detection Pulse in the nearby area to reveal them.
    • When not running Sneak Gyro, Smoke Bomb (engineer) from Bomb Kit can be used for stealth blasting instead.

Offensive

  • Bomb Kit is mainly taken for the #1 skill, Bomb, which does massive AoE damage after a short delay. Try to maintain as much uptime on bomb as possible, using your other damaging skills and hammer when the cooldowns are available.
  • In contrast to Bomb, Shredder Gyro is an exceptionally direct damage spike that is very potent during the first engage but also during the encounter. But don't waste it for cleaving downed players.
  • Thunderclap is a stun and particularly useful on range in a shadespike or in a bubble.
  • Elixir U is your only stunbreak.

Lower damage of the kit reduces the impact your nobrain 1-mashing will have. Still decent dps but these numbers are carried by Shredder Gyro even more now. March2020 -(5)- I have been a sceptic, but now I am enlightened. Most braindead pbaoe at the moment, period. Prime build for farming bags with autoattack. Requires a squad that allows you to stand in the enemies but then bomb kit is a nobrainer.

Before the damage nerf in april 2020 this build was pretty sick under the right circumstances. But now it is not that viable anymore, not enough damage output considering the danger you are putting yourself in when you have to stand on top of the enemies to deal the big damage. For long-ranged fights Mortar some fights does amazing damage with this build, but it's very inconsistent because it depends on the amount of projectile blockers.

Big damage, hands down. If not using bomb kit, damage is still strong, though bomb kit is much more reliable damage spread over time. Bomb kit scales up damage well for higher number groups. Oh and Superspeed = Win.

The only build where the harder you punch the #1 key the more DPS you do. Closed fist preferable.
