The main timegate in the grind is WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket ("Tickets") which are obtained through Skirmish Reward Tracks, WvW Weeklies and Objective Scaling Rewards ("OSR"). You can expect it to take 9 weeks to gather all the needed tickets without counting OSR.

Crafting Materials

is a moderate material sink and has the bulk of the WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket timegate needed. Its likely to be the last part of you finish. Most of your WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket will come from finishing your weekly Skirmish Reward Track, but you can also make sure to finish your WvW Weeklies and check out the guide to OSR rewards to speed up the timegate.
