Usage

Damage

  • Forge: Use Photon Blitz and Corona Burst off cooldown, fill in with autoattacks.
  • Toolbelt: Use Incendiary Ammo off cooldown.
  • Use Refraction Cutter and Radiant Arc off cooldown, especially at high heat right after dropping forge.
  • Use Blowtorch off cooldown and as close as possible to an enemy.
  • Use Prime Light Beam off cooldown when over 50 heat.
  • Auto-attack when all of the above are on cooldown and over 100 heat.
  • Flamethrower: Use Napalm then Flame Blast. If still at high heat, auto-attack with Flamethrower until either Blowtorch or Forge is available again.


Zerg Tagging

  • Equip Flamethrower, stay in range of mobs, and focus on using autoattacks for easy AoE tagging. Napalm and Flame Blast can help with enemies at longer ranges.
  • Consider using Rocket Boots, Crystal Configuration: Storm, and/or Elite Mortar Kit if zerging for an extended period of time.
  • Holo Leap can help keep up with the main body of the zerg if not using Rocket Boots.


Defense

  • Spectrum Shield is an extremely potent defensive cooldown. It grants 50% damage reduction and functions as a stunbreak. This is your best skill for any challenging content.
  • Elixir U provides a plethora of useful boons and functions as a stunbreak. It also provides Quickness Quickness for higher DPS.
  • Flash Spark and Smoke Vent inflict AoE Blinded Blinded.
  • Hard Light Arena, if selected as a utility skill, provides considerable Protection Protection and Regeneration Regeneration uptime. It should be used as often as possible when above 50 heat.


Crowd Control

  • Prismatic Singularity, also counts as an explosion.
  • Holographic Shockwave, also acts as a blast finisher.
  • Air Blast, also inflicts additional Burning Burning stacks.
