Equipment Notes
- Only a single torch is required.
- If you are running with a Support Chronomancer, you can afford to run the same gear and food as Build:Firebrand_-_Condition_DPS. Only do this if you are certain of maintaining 100% Quickness.
- If you are tanking, replace Viper with Trailblazer gear until you have as much toughness as needed.
Equipment Variants
If you want to run higher boon duration than the above setup without changing your food or utility, you could swap some Sinister pieces to Seraph, or Viper pieces to Celestial. Both these swaps will also slightly increase your healing power, though the extra healing is unlikely to be noticeable.
As the recommended boon duration will vary from group to group and encounter to encounter, consider the following guidelines in respect to maximising DPS:
- When swapping Sinister to Seraph you can use (or ascended versions) and to get up to ~28% boon duration.
- You could use Plaguedoctor instead of Seraph for this swap. It is a minor DPS loss for a small gain in survivability.
- When swapping Viper to Celestial you can use (or ascended versions) and either or to get up to ~30% boon duration.
- Note that you will gain extra toughness from Celestial stats, so be careful not to become the tank. Alternatively, this could be used to tank without sacrificing damage.
If you want higher boon durations than the above guidelines, you will do more damage with the variant below.

Be aware that boons from your mantras are distributed somewhat strangely. They are applied in a cone in front of you and also a small radius around you, but all valid targets within the cone are resolved first. This means that players outside your subgroup within the cone are higher priority than players within your subgroup who are only within the small AoE around you. This means that to reliable apply boons so your subgroup you should aim to be stood slightly behind them.
