==Overview==
Once a meta-defining DPS-support, Bannerslave has returned as a {{tooltip|Quickness}} provider. Banners provide a large amount of {{tooltip|Quickness}} up front and then pulse supplementary boons for a while afterwards. This makes warrior excellent for handling mechanics as it can spend long times off stack, and can provide its boons up to 960 units away. As banners cannot be moved once placed, it does struggle to maintain uptime on encounters with lots of movement.
+
No longer a quickness option, Bladesworn can now provide {{tooltip|Alacrity}} via {{trait|Daring Dragon}}. The lack of banners opens up the option to deal an impressive amount of DPS for a boon support, though its ability to provide boons other than {{tooltip|Alacrity}} is limited.

This build provides permanent uptimes of {{tooltip|Quickness}} and {{tooltip|Fury}}, along with around 70% {{tooltip|Resistance}} and 7 stacks of {{tooltip|Might}}. It can also provide a permanent 25 stacks of {{tooltip|Might}} by swapping to the '''Tactics''' traitline.
+
The incredibly high base duration of the trait means that no boon duration is required and gear can be reused from [[Build:Bladesworn_-_Power_DPS|Bladesworn - Power DPS]], and {{skill|Dragonspike Mine}} allows for a large buffer of {{tooltip|Alacrity}} to be built up immediately, making the build relatively efficient at handling mechanics.

 +
It also has access to some incidental support from the Tactics traitline.

===Banner Usage===

In general you want to use your banners off cooldown, though you can afford to delay them by a second or so if it means not delaying your Dragon Trigger. If you anticipate needing to delay your banners to deal with mechanics, or just find that you need higher boon duration to maintain {{tooltip|Quickness}}, then swapping in {{tooltip|Diviner stats}} gear is very efficient.

Bladesworn's rotation follows a basic structure, but the exact skills used each loop can vary. The complete loop looks as follows:

# {{Skill|Gunstinger}}, if available

# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}

# {{Skill|Cyclone Axe}}

# {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}}
#* You will have more time on loops after using {{skill|Tactical Reload}}, so use {{tooltip|Blooming Fire}} + {{tooltip|Artillery Slash}} + {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}} instead
+
# {{Skill|Cyclone Axe}} (optional)
# {{Skill|Sheathe Gunsaber}}
+
# Return to start of '''Gunsaber''' loop

* It would be slightly more optimal to move {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} to after step 4 in the rotation, but as it is a priority skill it will interrupt the cast time of the previous skill if used too early so you would need very good timing for it to be reliable.
+
* Use {{skill|Tactical Reload}} and {{skill|Flow Stabilizer}} off cooldown.
* Use {{skill|Tactical Reload}} off cooldown, though it is lower priority than recasting banners.

<big>'''Loop Explanation'''</big>

Outside of the opener, the exact order of skills actually isn't that important, though the rotation above was chosen for the following reasons:
+
This build uses {{trait|Lush Forest}}, which reduces the cooldowns of all your skills when we use a skill that is at max charges. Because of this, we can use {{Skill|Dragonspike Mine}} every time we are in '''Gunsaber''', increasing {{tooltip|Alacrity}} generation.
* We want to use {{Skill|Gunstinger}} before {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} both to front-load damage, but also to prevent {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} sitting at maximum charges.
+

* {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} will interrupt the cast time of skills other than {{Skill|Gunstinger}} if used too early. So it is safer to use it as early as possible to avoid this.
+
This informs the use of '''Gunsaber''' skills at step 7 of the '''Gunsaber''' Loop: we wish to trigger {{trait|Lush Forest}} twice, so we use two skills that are at max charges, with {{tooltip|Blooming Fire}} and {{tooltip|Cyclone Trigger}} taking priority.

===General Tips===

===General Tips===
* While charging {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}, you can use {{tooltip|Triggerguard}} and/or {{tooltip|Flicker Step}} to generate extra charges of {{trait|Fierce as Fire}}, to ensure you are at 10 stacks for {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}}.
+
* {{Skill|Dragon's Roar}} will interrupt the cast time of skills other than {{Skill|Gunstinger}} if used too early.
** If there is any danger of you getting interrupted while in {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}, you can forgo this step so they are available for defence.
+
* While charging {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}, you can use {{tooltip|Triggerguard}} and/or {{tooltip|Flicker Step}} to correct your positioning or prevent getting knocked out of Dragon Trigger.

* {{tooltip|Dragon Slash - Force}} alone is over half your total damage, so it is essential not to delay {{Skill|Dragon Trigger}}. If necessary, you can skip skills in your rotation if it is already available.

  • As you overcap crit with this setup, it is a small DPS increase to swap in Diviner stats Diviner stats gear up to ~10% boon duration whilst remaining crit-capped.
  • On encounters where bosses can be stunned (e.g. Keep Construct and most Strikes and Fractals) you would benefit more from a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact instead of the Sigil of Superior Sigil of Accuracy.
    • In this case, it would be optimal to have the weapon with Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact use Assassin stats Assassin stats, and also use (or ascended versions) as your food.

Loop Explanation

This build uses Lush Forest, which reduces the cooldowns of all your skills when we use a skill that is at max charges. Because of this, we can use Dragonspike Mine every time we are in Gunsaber, increasing Alacrity Alacrity generation.

This informs the use of Gunsaber skills at step 7 of the Gunsaber Loop: we wish to trigger Lush Forest twice, so we use two skills that are at max charges, with Blooming Fire Blooming Fire and Cyclone Trigger Cyclone Trigger taking priority.

General Tips

  • Dragon's Roar will interrupt the cast time of skills other than Gunstinger if used too early.
  • While charging Dragon Trigger, you can use Triggerguard Triggerguard and/or Flicker Step Flicker Step to correct your positioning or prevent getting knocked out of Dragon Trigger.
  • Dragon Slash - Force Dragon Slash - Force alone is over half your total damage, so it is essential not to delay Dragon Trigger. If necessary, you can skip skills in your rotation if it is already available.
