Overview

This build specializes in soloing open world content. It is difficult to kill and deals high AoE damage with Burning Burning. In addition, it provides lots of buffs and damage reduction to itself and nearby allies through its auras.
This build excels at Event Farming but also does well with Solo Content. It is not as efficient at tagging as other Elementalist builds, even with a staff.

I'd say the biggest upside of the build is the fact how easy it is to play; You have plenty of survivability and DPS just by sitting in fire attunement and spamming your most damaging skills. It also offers lots of customization options for those who want to push it a little further or be prepared for every scenario.

The only realistic downside is that you have to choose your weapons for the duration of the fight. This can be super annoying with ranged fights if you don't know what kind of content you're getting yourself into. That being said, you can still do perfectly fine DPS (compared to your average meta players) just with Scepter #1 and Signet of fire spam, its just boring as hell to be stuck in that knowing you could be doing more with the dagger. Same goes for the general decisions you have to make between offhand dagger and its AoE and Burst, Focus and its best DPS option and more protection, and Warhorn, cause that #5 is like someone gave a ton of steroids to Focus #4 (Its such a fun skill)

I'm still giving it 5 stars cause in general as long as you know what you're doing, the melee/range downside shouldn't affect you too much and with that out of the picture I feel like its a great open world condi build with its survivability, AoE and relatively good burstiness.

This build has great defense and utility, but lacks strong burst damage, making it non-ideal for basic open world content. It shines against bosses where it gets the most out of its burning and pulsing damage fields.
