Despite this builds' tricky-to-play nature. This build brings solid damage and a very entertaining, dynamic, playstyle. You can't take many hits, so you must rely on e-frames to dodge, which brings the difficulty curve. Overall, a solid and fun build. 5/5
I prefer this build with Fire and Earth instead of Air and Arcane, and the following equipment:
Armor: Berserker (Scholar), Weapons (Sword/Dagger): Assassins (Bloodlust+Strength), Amulet+Rings+1 Accessory: Marauder, 1 Accessory: Berserker, Backpack: Berserker+Valkyre, 18 x +5 Power infusions.
Build: Fire 1-1-1, Earth 3-2-3, Weaver 3-2-1.
It is tanky while still dealing lots of damage. It beats playing Tempest, in my opinion.
This build is very fun and has great damage and mobility, but is also very squishy. While it's more than enough to complete all story content, I wouldn't recommend it to hardcore dungeon soloers or players who aren't confident in their dodging skills.
An extremely fun build with decent damage, as Weaver Sword is a joy to use and feels so much more dynamic and satisfying on the go than Staff.
Problem is though, as already said, it's extremely squishy. Usually many would say to just deal with it, but for this build, I'd heavily recommend having at least a few pieces of Marauder's gear like two accessories as unlike a Staff or Scepter Elementalist you no longer have the luxury of range. Still though, if you can manage to survive, all the better. Proper use of water attunement should help to some small degree too.
