You should attempt to use {{Skill|Spear of Justice}} and {{Skill|Symbol of Resolution}} right before you use {{Skill|Whirling Wrath}}.
+ | ** Never interrupt your Greatsword or Sword autoattack chains as all the damage is loaded in the last hit.
+ | * {{Tooltip|Resolution}} is a massive damage boost so you should try to have it up as much as possible. Your main Resolution sources are {{Skill|Symbol of Wrath}}, {{Trait|Healer's Resolution}}, and {{Skill|"Stand Your Ground!"}}. If using the Virtues variant, {{Skill|Spear of Justice}} will provide an enormous boost to your {{Tooltip|Resolution}} uptime as well as significant damage.

In very rare circumstances, I will use **Mace/Shield** for the plethora of blocks it provides. Generally, this is only used against extremely strong, single enemies that attack fast, like the Balthazar hero point.
- Greatsword ⇒ Sword/Focus: This provides a considerable boost to defense but at a significant cost to DPS due to the lack of Template:Boon on Sword. If taking this, it's honestly advisable to use the **Virtues** spec instead.
