Infiltrator - Longbow + Dagger PvE Build
- High Single Target DPS
- Easy to Play
- Squishy
- No AOE Damage
Overview
This Longbow and Dagger PvE build is perfect for players looking to deal high damage with short cooldowns. It performs exceptionally well in PvE events, Field Bosses, Dungeons and general Open World PvE. The build is very straightforward and easy to pickup by both beginners and veteran players due to its easy to memorize rotations.
Attributes
In order to maximizing your damage potential, invest most points into Dexterity and Perception, aiming to push them first as they offer much needed hit rate and critical hit rate. You should also improve your Strength in order to improve your survivability, 30 is a good breakpoint to reach if it doesn't take too much. Meanwhile, Wisdom can be left as the lowest priority.
Skills
Your main burst ranged damage is provided by Strafing, Zephyr's Nock and Decisive Sniping, these are the first skills you should level alongside Brutal Arrow. Nature's Blessing is your main utility skill that regenerates your mana and health but can also be used with Inner Peace by staff players in your party to quickly regain all mana.
Your melee skills shouldn't be forgotten though as Cleaving Moonlight and Brutal Incision have high damage, especially when attacking targets debuffed by your Inject Venom. Shadow Strike is your main mobility skill and is perfect for setting up your melee rotation while also allowing you to return to the initial spot.
Wrathful Edge, Assassin's Instincts and Destructive Fang are your main damage increasing passives as they increase crit rate and crit damage. Remember to remain standing to make use of Rapidfire Stance while Assassin's Step triggers whenever you use kill a target, helping a great deal with maintaining your mana reserves.
Devoted Shield is an incredible ability for PVE as it places a 6.5k shield on you whenever you go down to under 30% HP, making it very difficult to die even during mechanics.
Equipment
These are the first items you should strive for through the leveling period as they are very easy to get and upgrade or trait as needed. However, you shouldn't try to trait these items too much as you won't be spending too much time playing with this setup before you start changing pieces into the Midgame. The green accessories however are very easy to trait as you can craft many of them quickly in order to get the correct traits so you should consider traiting them until you change into purples. The same goes for the blue ring as you keep it for a long time.
This is the gear you should transition to once you're leveled to 50 and start grinding gear. It is comprised of gear you can get either from dungeons or by completing Litographs, they are relatively easy to trait up and you will spend most of the time wearing this set before advancing into the late game so traiting these items is very important and should be your main focus.
This is the current endgame gear you should aim for, and while it isn't easy to acquire, it offers great power without the need of acquiring archboss gear pieces. However, items like Tevent's Fangs of Fury or other archboss weapons are superior but difficult to acquire for the majority of players. If you do manage to get the archboss weapons for your build, feel free to use them over the weapons shown here.

Longbow: Allocate 9 points into Sniping to significantly increase your damage and critical damage. Then, invest 9 points into Check for more cooldown speed and to enhance the Bind Chance of your Ensnaring Arrow skill. Useful for smaller mobs but also debuffing bosses by applying the Oppressed debuff. One last point is then added to Support.
Dagger: Invest 9 points in Assassination for extra crit damage, off-hand weapon activation rate and attack speed. The remaining 9 points can be added into Poison for more base damage and off-hand chance alongside Cooldown speed. You can add the last point to Disguise.
Rotations
- This is your main Ranged DPS rotation and can be paired with the melee rotation below. Being by buffing yourself with the Inject Venom and Nature's Blessing to make your Decisive Sniping channel faster. Use Ensnaring Arrow to apply the oppressed debuff and make use of Steady Aim before using Decisive Sniping to deal high damage while also increasing your critical hit rate.
- Continue by putting down Brutal Arrow on top of the boss/enemy you are fighting to start applying the Gale debuff. Follow up by applying Deadly Marker which will increase critical rate for your entire party but also double the stacks of Target you apply with Strafing. Using Strafing two times will apply enough Target debuff to use Zephyr's Nock and lower its cooldown before using Strafing again to apply the debuff again so your next Zephyr's Nock gets its cooldown lowered once more.
- While this rotation isn't as powerful as the Ranged Rotation, you want to follow up with this rotation after you've done the ranged one and you need extra damage on the target. You can still use this rotation on its own as its still very potent at dealing with low HP mobs.
- Make sure that you have Inject Venom active first. Start by using Shadow Strike to get in melee range before following up with Cleaving Moonlight two times and using Brutal Incision to deal high damage. Use Shadow Strike again to teleport back to the original location from where you can transition back into your Ranged Rotation.
