Overview

Low-Intensity Tempest is an Open World LI Build focused on applying Burning and Bleeding to enemies while maintaining high defense and utilizing pet summons.

What Is LI?

LI stands for "Low-Intensity". LI builds are a class of builds that work to slow the game down drastically by using passive defense and builds that require very low input to function. These builds are designed primarily for players that have disabilities that may prevent them from playing higher intensity builds, though they are here for any player who wishes to play them.

• For budget prefixes, consider running Dire or Rabid with Rune of Superior Rune of the Undead, Rune of Superior Rune of the Krait, or Rune of Superior Rune of Balthazar and a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Agony / Sigil of Superior Sigil of Smoldering depending on your needs.
• At Tier 3 usage or above, it may be a good idea to change Sigil of Superior Sigil of Corruption to Sigil of Superior Sigil of Geomancy. Swapping attunements counts as a weapon swap.

Consumables

You should consider consumables that increase your defense, such as , or use consumables that increase your damage, such as and . When farming for profit, use and . In general, you should always use Ascended Food over non-ascended consumables when it is available.

Usage

Like other LI builds, the usage of this build is broken into tiers of complexity. Find a tier that you are comfortable with.

Tier 1

Camp in Earth Attunement and use auto-attacks and Ring of Earth while summoning Earth Elementals with Glyph of Lesser Elementals and Glyph of Elementals.

Tier 2

As in Tier 1, but add Overload Earth off cooldown.

Tier 3

• Change Arcane to Fire
• Swap between Fire Attunement and Earth Attunement. Your Earth Attunement remain as in Tier 2.
• In Fire Attunement, use Drake's Breath and Wildfire while auto-attacking.

Tier 4

As in Tier 3, but add Overload Fire off cooldown.

Tier 5

As in Tier 4, but add Dust Storm in Earth, Heat Sync in Fire, and spam the Glyph of Elementals active.
