==Overview==

==Overview==
A very powerful condition-based weaver build for open world. This build offers very high DPS and defense with an active, skill-based playstyle. Condition Weaver can be very difficult to master, but is one of the strongest options for solo play.
+
Condition weaver, as all weaver builds, is a fast paced build that requires constant attunement swapping. Thanks to the {{Tooltip|Earth}} traitline, it is slightly more tanky than power weaver. There are many weapons that can be used with this build, allowing the player to use whichever they prefer. It also features moderate burst damage (for a condition build) due to all the burning it inflicts.

===Weapon Variants===
 +
There are many weapons that can be used for this build, and they're very similar in terms of damage. Chose whichever weapon you like best.
 +
* If you don't have access to {{Tooltip|Warhorn}} with [https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Weaponmaster_Training Weaponmaster Training] from Secrets of the Obscure, use offhand {{Tooltip|Focus}} instead.
 +
* {{Tooltip|Scepter}} - we default to scepter for its range, AoE damageand simplicity.
 +
* {{Tooltip|Pistol}} - high damage single target alternative to {{Tooltip|Scepter}} (requires [https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Weaponmaster_Training Weaponmaster Training] with Secrets of the Obscure).
 +
* {{Tooltip|Sword}} - more evades, but melee-only; replaces {{Tooltip|Scepter}}
 +
* {{Tooltip|Dagger|Mainhand Dagger}} - very good mobility, but melee-only; replaces {{Tooltip|Scepter}}

====Weapon Variants====

This build can work with all of the weapons available to Weaver with a similar damage rotation for each. Note that {{Skill|Primordial Stance}} and {{Trait|Sunspot}} require you to be in close range to deal damage.

* Sword: Strong melee burst and more defensive options for solo play, good for brawling against tougher enemies when sustain and evasion are needed.

* Main-hand Dagger: Melee option with heavy cleave but more challenging damage rotation and you will be constantly dashing around.

* Off-hand Dagger: Less defensive utility and single target damage than focus but good cleave and mobility.

* Staff: Long range cleave weapon with high AoE damage potential but can be somewhat awkward to use.

====Skill Variants====
+
===Skill Variants===
'''Healing'''
+
====Heal skill====
* {{Skill|Glyph of Elemental Harmony}} - burst healing
+
We default to {{Skill|Signet of Restoration}} as it provides good passive healing and works great with weaver's fast-paced playstyle, but very weak heal on demand, leaving you vulnerable to burst damage. Other alternatives are:

+
*{{Skill|Glyph of Elemental Harmony}} - strong burst healing and a boon based on attunement.
'''Utility'''
+
* {{Skill|Arcane Brilliance}} - weak heal by default, but is greatly increased if it strikes nearby enemies. Performs a blast finisher, and heals for more when doing so. Excellent synergy with water combo fields. (See: [[Guide:What are Combo Fields|What are Combo Fields]]).
Glyph of Elemental Power can be replaced by:
+
* {{Skill|Ether Renewal}} - very high healing and condition removal throughout its long channelling time. Great option for raw healing if you can afford the cast time.
* {{Skill|Stone Resonance}} - stability and huge barrier.
+
====Utility skills====
* {{Skill|Twist of Fate}} - stunbreak with 2 charges and extra evasion.
+
We default to:<br>
* {{Skill|Glyph of Storms}} - AoE burst damage from {{Skill|Firestorm (Glyph of Storms)}} or pulsing blind with {{Skill|Sandstorm}} and a replacement for {{Skill|Primordial Stance}} if playing purely at range.
+
{{Skill|Signet of Fire}}: great damage with its active skill, and the passive will remain active thanks to {{Trait|Written in Stone}}.<br>
* {{Skill|Glyph of Lesser Elementals}} - summons multiple weak elementals. Can be awkward to use due to setup delay and the summons disappearing upon mounting up or entering water. Fire elemental deals good burning damage, while Water and Earth are moderately tanky.
+
{{Skill|Primordial Stance}}: great damage when attuned to fire.<br>
 +
{{Skill|Glyph of Elemental Power}}: very flexible skill that can do damage, or cleanse conditions, or daze enemies, or give barrier, depending on your current attunement, and breaks stun.<br>
 +
Other alternatives include:
 +
* {{Skill|Signet of Earth}} - great defensive/offensive option.
 +
* {{Skill|Arcane Shield}} - stunbreak and block.
 +
* {{Skill|Glyph of Storms}} - good for AoE damage on Fire or AoE blind on Earth.
 +
* {{Skill|Cleansing Fire}} - condition cleanse and stun break.

* {{Skill|Lightning Flash}} - mobility.

* {{Skill|Lightning Flash}} - mobility.
* {{Skill|Signet of Air}} - low CD stunbreak that also passively improves movement speed.
+
====Elite skill====

+
{{Skill|Glyph of Elementals}} is simply the best elite for solo play. Cast it on Fire for damage, on Water for support, healing and {{Tooltip|Knockback}}, on Air for a {{Tooltip|Stun}}, or on Earth for defense and tanking.
'''Elite'''
+
* {{Skill|Weave Self}} - alternative to {{Skill|Glyph of Elementals}}
* {{Skill|Glyph of Elementals}} - sacrifices the very large burst damage increase from Weave Self in exchange for a pet. The Flame elemental provides high DPS (be sure to use the command skill on CD where possible) while Water and Earth give you a reliable front line.

==Usage==
This build primarily relies on {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} and {{Skill|Earth Attunement}}. It is not particularly difficult to play, but has a lot of options to respond to different situations and requires a bit of game knowledge to take advantage of.
+
===Damage===
 +
Focus primarily on {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} for {{Tooltip|Burning}} and {{Skill|Earth Attunement}} for {{Tooltip|Bleeding}}. Using skills on {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} gives you {{Tooltip|Might}} thanks to {{Trait|Pyromancer's Puissance}}, and leaving Fire Attunement also triggers an explosion that does damage. This explosion has a short radius, so stick close to your enemies before leaving Fire Attunement. {{Skill|Air Attunement}} and {{Skill|Water Attunement}} have some utility but you will mostly focus on Fire and Earth.

====Damage====
+
Constantly swap attunements to proc {{Trait|Weaver's Prowess}}, and Double Attune to proc {{Trait|Elements of Rage}}. Use {{Skill|Signet of Fire}} off cooldown, its passive will remain active thanks to {{Trait|Written in Stone}}. Use {{Skill|Primordial Stance}} and {{Skill|Gyph of Elemental Power}} when you attune to {{Skill|Fire Attunement}}.
* Generally for DPS you should be rotating through the following Attunement loop:

# {{Skill|Fire Attunement}}

# {{Skill|Fire Attunement}}

# {{Skill|Earth Attunement}}

* Spam all of your fire and earth skills as they are available.

* You can combine {{Skill|Lava Skin}}, {{Skill|Glyph of Elemental Power}}, and {{Skill|Primordial Stance}} with {{Skill|Obsidian Flesh}} for a large burst of damage while you are invulnerable.

* For a more detailed rotation breakdown, see the similar endgame build guide: [[Build:Weaver_-_Condi_DPS]]

 +
Summon {{Skill|Glyph of Elementals}} for fights.  Cast it on Fire for damage, on Water for support, healing and {{Tooltip|Knockback}}, on Air for a {{Tooltip|Stun}}, or on Earth for defense and tanking.

====Utilities====
+
====Loop Priorities====
Primordial Stance and Glyph of Elemental Power change drastically depending on your current attunement, and its important to consider what attunement is best to use them in
+
* There are many viable loop patterns to use for weaver.
* {{Skill|Primordial Stance}} considers the element on your mainhand and the element on your offhand to determine what condition to pulse, and updates every second. As such, for the highest damage, use it right before double attuning to Earth for high {{Tooltip|Bleeding}} damage, or in Air for {{Tooltip|Vulnerability}}.
+
* The general idea is to focus on Fire-Fire as the "default". From there, loop into either Earth or Air, alternating between the two after each Fire-Fire.
* {{Skill|Glyph of Elemental Power}} changes its effect depending on your mainhand attunement, and is best used in Air for {{Tooltip|Vulnerability}} or in Fire for high {{Tooltip|Burning}} damage.
+
* A suggested example is as follows:
* {{Skill|Signet of Fire}} is your highest damage skill, spam it off cooldown, even when not using {{Trait|Written in Stone}}.
+
# {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} / {{Skill|Air Attunement}}
 +
# Start combat with {{Skill|Lightning Orb}}
 +
# {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} / {{Skill|Fire Attunement}} <-- Loop starts here

# Your attunement presses will look like this: Fire(Opener)-Earth-Fire-Fire-Air-Fire-Fire

====Defense====
+
This can appear complex, but with only a few minutes of practice the loop becomes very rhythmic and most players will find it easy to follow.
'''Mitigation'''

* {{Skill|Magnetic Wave}}, {{Skill|Swirling Winds}} - projectile hate.

* {{Skill|Obsidian Flesh}} - invulnerability.

* Using a Dual Attack gives {{Tooltip|Vigor}}, and dodging gives barrier, thanks to {{Trait|Invigorating Strikes}}.

* (Sword only) {{Skill|Riptide}} and {{Skill|Earthen Vortex}} both make you evade for 1 second.

'''Sustain'''
+
====Fire Priority====
* {{Skill|Signet of Restoration}} heals you for every single skill you cast.
+
# {{Skill|Wildfire}}
* (Sword only) {{Skill|Riptide}} creates a water field where you can use your combo finishers to heal, such as {{Skill|Polaric Leap}}, {{Skill|Magnetic Wave}}, {{Skill|Earthen Vortex}}, {{Skill|Flame Uprising}}.

This build was last updated on August 27, 2025 and is up to date for the August 19, 2025 patch.

Overview

Condition weaver, as all weaver builds, is a fast paced build that requires constant attunement swapping. Thanks to the Earth Earth traitline, it is slightly more tanky than power weaver. There are many weapons that can be used with this build, allowing the player to use whichever they prefer. It also features moderate burst damage (for a condition build) due to all the burning it inflicts.

Weapon Variants

There are many weapons that can be used for this build, and they're very similar in terms of damage. Chose whichever weapon you like best.

Skill Variants

Heal skill

We default to Signet of Restoration as it provides good passive healing and works great with weaver's fast-paced playstyle, but very weak heal on demand, leaving you vulnerable to burst damage. Other alternatives are:

  • Glyph of Elemental Harmony - strong burst healing and a boon based on attunement.
  • Arcane Brilliance - weak heal by default, but is greatly increased if it strikes nearby enemies. Performs a blast finisher, and heals for more when doing so. Excellent synergy with water combo fields. (See: What are Combo Fields).
  • Ether Renewal - very high healing and condition removal throughout its long channelling time. Great option for raw healing if you can afford the cast time.

Utility skills

We default to:
Signet of Fire: great damage with its active skill, and the passive will remain active thanks to Written in Stone.
Primordial Stance: great damage when attuned to fire.
Glyph of Elemental Power: very flexible skill that can do damage, or cleanse conditions, or daze enemies, or give barrier, depending on your current attunement, and breaks stun.
Other alternatives include:

  • Signet of Earth - great defensive/offensive option.
  • Arcane Shield - stunbreak and block.
  • Glyph of Storms - good for AoE damage on Fire or AoE blind on Earth.
  • Cleansing Fire - condition cleanse and stun break.
  • Lightning Flash - mobility.

Elite skill

Glyph of Elementals is simply the best elite for solo play. Cast it on Fire for damage, on Water for support, healing and Knockback Knockback, on Air for a Stun Stun, or on Earth for defense and tanking.

  • Weave Self - alternative to Glyph of Elementals

Usage

Damage

Focus primarily on Fire Attunement for Burning Burning and Earth Attunement for Bleeding Bleeding. Using skills on Fire Attunement gives you Might Might thanks to Pyromancer's Puissance, and leaving Fire Attunement also triggers an explosion that does damage. This explosion has a short radius, so stick close to your enemies before leaving Fire Attunement. Air Attunement and Water Attunement have some utility but you will mostly focus on Fire and Earth.

Constantly swap attunements to proc Weaver's Prowess, and Double Attune to proc Elements of Rage. Use Signet of Fire off cooldown, its passive will remain active thanks to Written in Stone. Use Primordial Stance and Gyph of Elemental Power when you attune to Fire Attunement.

Summon Glyph of Elementals for fights. Cast it on Fire for damage, on Water for support, healing and Knockback Knockback, on Air for a Stun Stun, or on Earth for defense and tanking.

Loop Priorities

  • There are many viable loop patterns to use for weaver.
  • The general idea is to focus on Fire-Fire as the "default". From there, loop into either Earth or Air, alternating between the two after each Fire-Fire.
  • A suggested example is as follows:
  1. Fire Attunement / Air Attunement
  2. Start combat with Lightning Orb
  3. Fire Attunement / Fire Attunement <-- Loop starts here
  4. Earth Attunement / Fire Attunement
  5. Fire Attunement / Earth Attunement
  6. Fire Attunement / Fire Attunement
  7. Air Attunement / Fire Attunement
  8. Fire Attunement / Air Attunement
  9. Repeat the loop
  10. Quick Text Version: open with f/a to get in combat -> f/f -> e/f -> f/e -> f/f -> a/f -> f/a -> f/f (repeat)
  11. Your attunement presses will look like this: Fire(Opener)-Earth-Fire-Fire-Air-Fire-Fire

This can appear complex, but with only a few minutes of practice the loop becomes very rhythmic and most players will find it easy to follow.

Fire Priority

  1. Wildfire

  3. Phoenix
  4. Heat Sync

Air Priority

  1. Lightning Orb
  2. Lightning Strike

Earth Priority

  1. Fracturing Strike
  2. Dust Storm
  3. Rock Barrier Hurl

Defense

  • You take reduced damage while attuned to Earth thanks to Stone Flesh, Geomancer's Training, gain a small barrier upon attuning to it due to Earthen Blast, and gain increased vitality from Elemental Polyphony.
  • You should always be using a skill (this includes basic attacks), even when running away, to heal yourself with the passive of Signet of Restoration.
  • Glyph of Elementals - Earth and Water are strong tank pets
  • Sand Squall - reflect projectiles
  • Dust Storm - AoE Blind Blind
  • Rock Barrier - barrier + toughness

Crowd Control

  • Earthen Synergy
  • Tidal Surge
  • Cyclone
  • Soft cc from Dust Devil, Dust Storm, Shatterstone, Glacial Drift, Blinding Flash and Fiery Frost.

An amazing build! Deals a lot of damage against enemies and probably my favorite for now to play Elementalist with!

I was pretty frustrated with most builds until i tried this. Really good for solo(arcane) and great for groups(earth).

My all time favorite ele build. Feels much more dynamic and fast-paced when compared to any tempest build, pair that with above average self-healing, and the ability to kill most trash mobs with the single press of a button, and you get a fun, fast, powerhouse of a elementalist that can take on even some more difficult content.

One of my top 3 favorite builds right now, the others being Condi Mirage (melee) and Shortbow Renegade. Very configurable: multiple good weapon choices, and you could probably do well with any utility skills you want, though the ones listed here are likely the best choice for general use. Very durable, yet good damage. While switching stuff around, I ended up with 2 condi clears (Sigil of Cleansing and Diamond Skin trait) and found that, with those and of all the passive barrier and healing applications, I could kill pretty much all of the PoF repeatable hero points while hardly ever moving or dodging, usually losing little or no health in the process. Pretty easy to use, too: as long as you switch attunements often, you can kill stuff pretty quickly with almost random weapon and utility skill usage--though intelligent use gets better results, of course.

A really strong open world build for ele that's great in virtually all situations.
