Overview

A pistol/pistol Unload spamming Deadeye build.

Despite being one of the oldest memes in Guild Wars 2, this build deals decent sustained ranged damage, isn't reliant on Alacrity Alacrity or Might Might uptime, and is far more mobile than Deadeye - Power DPS Rifle. This makes it viable for kiting mechanics (such as flak on Sabetha) or doing ranged strat on Deimos.

If you are actually able to melee the boss Deadeye - Power DPS D/D will usually perform better.

Usage

This build doesn't have a real rotation and follows a simple DPS priority. The basic idea is to use Deadeye's Mark and hold down Unload with Netflix on your second screen.

If you are at max malice, you should use either Shadow Meld or a stolen skill to gain stealth, then reset your malice with Malicious Sneak Attack. This procs Revealed Training and allows you to start building up malice to proc Maleficent Seven again, which gives you the initiative to sustain Unload.

  • Press Assassin's Signet and Shadow Flare off cooldown.
  • Try to attack the boss from the back or sides to maximize your Twin Fangs uptime.
  • Although you are ranged you should still try to stay in range of your Chronomancer's Signet of Inspiration. This is so that you can maintain boons for Premeditation.
  • If possible, precast Black Powder a few times with Trickery traited before the fight begins. This lets you have Lead Attacks up at the beginning of the fight for more burst damage.

It has the best description ever! "The basic idea is to use Deadeye's Mark and hold down Unload with Netflix on your second screen." Been playing this build for I want to say a few weeks now. It's so dope and easy xD even without perfect or near-perfect management of malice, you can push out decent damage. I rececommd it if you're looking for something easy to play and do amazing damage or semi-good damage depending on how well you can manage your malice. I got to 11k some strike fights (probably can reach more damage). Most of the strikes I did I got around 8-11k. I feel like if you're dps if you can reach about 9k or more you're alright dps player. My personal opinion. Maybe I am wrong assuming supports do around supports do 3-5k or some do 5-7k damage. Jus try to be above the 5-7k damage and I say you're getting the hang of this build like me still. It's simple maybe I am just bad at the game still? But really fun and simple. New players looking for elite spec to play Deadeye all the way!

I love this build! It gives a relaxing rotation usability in raids. It also makes optimal use of the Malice/inItiative so you would rarely run out of Unload if you are doing the rotation correctly.

Decent build for kiting, and might be worth it in very disorganized groups with poor might uptime, but there isn't much else it can do.
