Guide:How to make Conflux

Introduction

is the WvW counterpart to and exclusively obtained through WvW. The main timegate in the grind is WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket ("Tickets") which are obtained through Skirmish Reward Tracks, WvW Weeklies and Objective Scaling Rewards ("OSR"). The guide to WvW Rewards has everything you need to know about WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket, and the guide to Objective Scaling Rewards has more detail on how that system works. You can expect it to take 9 weeks to gather all the needed tickets without counting OSR.

Crafting Materials

Like other legendaries, there are both tradeable and untradeable materials needed to craft Conflux. Many of the requirements will completely or partially be obtained during the grind for WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket. The following list shows every item needed to craft and is color coded as follows:

• Red: Not obtained during ticket grind
• Yellow: Partially obtained during ticket grind
• Green: Entirely obtained during ticket grind

Precursor

The can be obtained through WvW, Fractals or SPvP. It is most efficient to get it through Fractals or SPvP since the WvW version will extend the WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket timegate. The difference between the modes is relatively small, so don't be afraid to just get it from the game mode you enjoy most.

Gift of Conquering

This gift should be easily finished by the time you're done with the WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket timegate. The one thing to keep in mind is the four needed, so make sure you repeat that reward track until you have enough.

Gift of the World

is a moderate material sink and has the bulk of the WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket timegate needed. Its likely to be the last part of you finish. Most of your WvW Skirmish Claim Ticket will come from finishing your weekly Skirmish Reward Track, but you can also make sure to finish your WvW Weeklies and check out the guide to OSR rewards to speed up the timegate.

Many of the components are bought from Legendary Commander War Razor and require WvW currencies. He can be found in the spawn area of any WvW map. Check out the guide to WvW rewards for information on the WvW currencies used in this gift.

can be purchased from Rojan the Penitent for an unavoidable 100 Gold. Rojan is available after a successful Claw of Jormag world boss.

will require salvaging an ascended armor or weapon and either completing Fractals or purchasing from the trading post.

Mystic Tribute

The is the main material sink part of the legendary. The two each of and require a large amount of crafting materials to be combined into four different gifts which are then combined into the two condensed gifts. The best way to get these materials will be buying any you need from the trading post for Gold. Check out our ways to earn gold guide if you need more Gold to finish this.

You're also going to need . You can get these just by finishing reward tracks in WvW, but the gw2wiki has a great article here that explains other ways to acquire them.

Finally, you're going to need 250 . Other than daily login rewards you can get some of these weekly by finishing your Gold and Diamond Skirmish Reward Track or from EoD strike missions. You can check out our strike guides if you need help getting into strikes. The last option is just buying them from the trading post.

Finishing Conflux

Once you have the , , , and you can simply combine them in the Mystic Forge to finish . Keep in mind that is not unique and can be crafted again instead of making a as your second legendary ring.
