Example Opener

  1. Scepter auto chain to generate a clone (You don't need a target to cycle through the chain, so you can start the chain before engaging the boss)
  2. during the cast of
  • If you're quick, then you won't need three clones for , and can skip step 1.
  • With a three-clone , you can throw in extra DPS skills for more damage.
  • After this opener, wait until is off cooldown and use it once more, then weapon swap.
  • On pistol, use twice (three times if you took ) before swapping back to shield.
  • Use as soon as it is available, then swap back to pistol.
  • Use boon skills as they come off cooldown, and make sure to every other

  • Done correctly, your boon skills should come off cooldown just in time for your next .

There aren't many encounters where this does competitive damage, but it's nice that it can provide a broader range of boons than the power version, with all the usual mesmer utility.
