Deadlock Dynamo Build
Overview
Dynamo is one of the best support heroes in Deadlock, its playstyle being a mix of tanking and support as Dynamo is capable of both! This build focuses on the support side of Dynamo and mainly using your Singularity to catch enemies for your team, helping a lot with winning team fights while supporting your team by using Rejuvenating Aurora to heal up between fights.
Dynamo is perfect for players looking to fill the support role in Deadlock as he is very impactful in all matches if played well, capable of carrying the match by himself with proper use of Singularity.
- Great AOE CC through the use of Singularity.
- Tanky, capable of taking a lot of damage and peel for his team.
- Great healing ability for himself and his team Rejuvenating Aurora.
- Weak early game because of long cooldowns.
- Low Damage.
- Team reliant as Singularity requires good coordination and followup from your team.

Skills
- Kinetic Pulse — Dynamo's most versatile skill, you should use this whenever you have the chance to throw enemies into the air while also slowing them down and increasing the damage you do to them. You can also use Kinetic Pulse for clearing the wave as it deals high damage, capable of clearing out groups of troopers with ease.
- Quantum Entanglement — This teleport skill can doom or save you and your team mates whenever used. It can be used to carry yourself and nearby heroes to a new destination, allowing you to dodge high damaging skills like Death Slam or force a fight by pushing with your team, increasing everyone's fire rate and also reloading your weapon.
- Rejuvenating Aurora — Your healing skill, capable of healing an entire team as long you make sure to let them know to stay in the AOE as team mates often get out of it without realizing that they could benefit from the heal. Use it as often as possible to keep your team healthy and as close to full HP at all times.
- Singularity — Being one of the most impactful skills in Deadlock, Singularity pulls enemies into a black hole and holds them for a few seconds. However, you remain vulnerable when using it, which requires follow-up from your team or else you might end up dying during the duration of Singularity. You should always try to catch as many enemies as possible with Singularity as the long cooldown can be an issue until you can buy Refresher.
Early Game / Laning Phase
You should focus on gaining a souls advantage in lane as early as possible, do this by denying trooper kills while also farming them yourself. You can push the enemy by comboing Quantum Entanglement with Kinetic Pulse, allowing you to quickly burst down the enemy with help from Close Quarters, High-Velocity Mag and Rapid Rounds.
Make sure to also buy Mystic Burst as it increases your Kinetic Pulse damage and allows you to quickly clear the trooper wave.
The last item you should buy in the early game is Majestic Leap which can be used to gank from a vertial angle. Throw yourself into the air with Majestic Leap before pressing it again to crash down on top of your enemy and continuing the rotation with Kinetic Pulse or land a Singularity!
Early Game Situational
If you are struggling in lane, Health Nova is a great item to buy early in order to heal yourself but also your allies, increasing the healing done depending on how many team mates are around you when you use the item.
Mid Game
Once into the mid game, rush Refresher as early as possible to start forcing team fights and improve your ganking potential by using Singularity twice. Refresher also resets all your other abilities, which means you can use Rejuvenating Aurora twice to heal yourself to full after almost using your entire HP or simply to keep your team healthy.
Roaming should be your first priority in the mid game as helping other lanes and ganking enemies as much as possible can bring a massive souls advantage to this Dynamo support build.
Duration Extender, Improved Cooldown & Mystic Reach are fantastic for Singularity once you've already acquired Refresher and should be your next purchases as you advance into the mid game. However, don't underestimate Mystic Shot as it greatly increases your next shot fired with your gun and helps improve your damage after using Kinetic Pulse.
Team fights is where Dynamo shines the most though and you should force as many as possible, following your team around and engaging with them for a decisive victory that could allow you to dominate the mid game and their side of the map, allowing you and your team mates to keep snowballing as you take souls from both jungle camps and vending machines.
Late Game
Once the late game begins, focus on continuing the souls snowball but look for opportunities to also run the Midboss as killing it could easily lead to the victory screen. If your team fails to gather for a Midboss kill, keep in mind that you can also make a play alone. Drop down into the Midboss pit where the Rejuvenator spawns then use Singularity to pull all enemies into it as the Rejuvenator is coming down. Cancel Singularity and use Parry to bait enemies into heavy attacking you before using your own heavy attack to steal the Rejuvenator while enemies are stunned.
Purchasing Healing Booster is a great choice as many heroes begin to buy Healbane into the late game in order to counter your healing.
Dynamo's Singularity should be further boosted by Escalating Exposure and Improved Reach in order to become even deadlier before the end of the game.
Situational Items
These items can be bought up to counter certain heroes as they work perfectly for specific scenarios.
- Improved Spirit Armor - A great choice vs Spirit heavy teams that can help with winning the game if the game lasts too long, however, it shouldn't be a priority.
- Improved Bullet Armor - This is a fantastic choice for countering Bullet heavy teams, especially vs Haze and Wraith.
- Healbane - This is a great item choice against healing heavy heroes like Infernus or Abrams, helping you take them down.
- Ethereal Shift — This item is fantastic for engaging with all your abilities before using Ethereal Shift to become immune to damage. It is also good for avoid high damage skills like Guided Owl.
- Knockdown — Cheap item to counter both snipers like Vindicta and Grey Talon by knocking them out of the air. This also works on Seven while he is ulting and he will also be stopped.
- Silence Glyph — Buy this if you want to silence enemies and turn them into a quick kill. Works exceptionally well vs enemies that make use of short cooldowns like Lash. It is also great for countering Yamato as the silence can stop her from using the ultimate.
- Debuff Remover — This item removes all debuffs when pressed and can be amazing vs heroes like Bebop as it counters his Sticky Bomb entirely.
- Metal Skin — While not very useful against other heroes, this is very good vs Hazes ultimate, allowing you to reposition away from her while she uses it without taking any damage.
