Deadlock Haze Build
Overview
Haze is a perfect choice for both new players and veterans alike, being one of the best gankers in the game but also do great in team fights. Haze is capable of 1vs6-ing the enemy team with a well placed Bullet Dance. The build focuses on building Haze with a heavy focus on bullet damage and Fixation. While Haze is rather weak during the early minutes of the game with low range and a small gun magazine, she can grow into a monster as the game progresses, especially if focusing on clearing neutral jungle camps.

- Good mobility & Ganking potential.
- High Single Target DPS.
- Fantastic Team Fighting capability.
- Weak laning phase.
- Easy to counter.
- Squishy and short range, vulnerable to snipers like Vindicta and Grey Talon.

Skills
- Sleep Dagger — This is a very versatile skill acting as your main CC and the best way to catch enemies out of position or CC enemies as you retreat. Use this to counter enemies trying to run away or pull snipers like Vindicta and Grey Talon down.
- Smoke Bomb — One of the most important skills for Haze, it allows you to roam and gank lanes with ease, making you very difficult to pin down. You can also Smoke Bomb right before picking up the Urn and carry it while being invisible!
- Fixation — This passive deals damage and slows as you hit an enemy player, greatly increasing your damage as you land more hits on them.
- Bullet Dance — This ability deals incredible AOE damage and can wipe entire teams by positioning correctly and catching enemies stacked together. You also gain bullet evasion during the channel of Bullet Dance!
Early Game / Laning Phase
While the laning phase is Hazes weakest part due to her low ammo and range, Ammo Scavenger helps with the issue, helping a lot with staying in lane and surviving the early game. You should look for opportunities to use Sleep Dagger and catch enemies by surprise before following up with gun damage, boosted by Headshot Booster as you should always aim for enemy heads.
Focus on farming troopers in lane and denying the enemy to pull ahead in souls while remaining safe as most enemies usually try to bully you out of lane. Sprint Boots and Extra Stamina grant you extra mobility, allowing you to move around easier and outplay the enemy laner so you have an easier time surviving the lane while looking for opportunities to use Sleep Dagger.
Your biggest power spike comes from Kinetic Dash as it greatly increases your fire rate and even adds extra ammo after a successful Dash-Jump. Don't forget Quicksilver Reload (added to your Sleep Dagger) in order to instantly reload your weapon and continue DPSing.
Early Game Situational
If you're having a tough time in lane, Healing Rite can give you good healing without needing to return to base. Just stay out of the enemy's range because getting hit will cancel the healing. Later in the game, you should sell it since it becomes less useful as the game goes on.
Mid Game
During the Mid Game Haze becomes an issue for the enemy team as she starts roaming and ganking more often. Try to finish off the guardian before beginning to gank other lanes. Abuse the invisibility provided by Smoke Bomb and sneak around onto other lanes whenever they are pushing closer to your own guardian/walker and surprise them with Sleep Dagger before bursting them down with your gun.
Thanks to Tesla Bullets, Haze jungling ability is fantastic and you should focus on this in order to get as many souls as possible in order to get ahead of the enemy team. Keep an eye out for the Urn as Haze is one of the best Urn carriers in the game through the use of Smoke Bomb just before picking up the urn. Focus on delivering as many as you can to help your entire team with acquiring more souls but don't forget that you cannot use any skills while you are carrying the Urn.
Continue building up with Suppressor and Burst Fire to further boost your kill potential while Escalating Resilience helps with your otherwise lacking defense against other bullet based heroes like Wraith.
Late Game
Focus on controlling the Midboss and targeting lone enemies who are out of position or split pushing. Keep delivering Urns frequently while ganking and forcing uneven fights in your favor by picking off enemies just before a teamfight, turning it into a 6vs5. Haze is strongest in team fights, so wait for the right moment to use Bullet Dance in the late game to take out multiple enemies before they have a chance to react.
First you want to buy Lucky Shot to further increase your ammo alongside adding a slow when you attack enemies. Follow up by buying the Ricochet to help with dealing more AOE damage and increase the damage done by Bullet Dance.
Follow up with buying Silencer to silence enemies with your gun while you burst them down in a 1vs1 but also when you are using Bullet Dance in a team fight.
Glass Cannon is your last major power spike as it offers a massive damage increase that will help with finishing off the game with a win.
Situational Items
These items can be bought up to counter certain heroes as they work perfectly for specific scenarios.
- Knockdown — Cheap item to counter both snipers like Vindicta and Grey Talon by knocking them out of the air. This also works on Seven while he is ulting and he will also be stopped.
- Unstoppable — A fantastic choice for becoming unstoppable and immune to CCs, especially useful against CC heavy teams.
- Curse — This item interrupts spellcasting, silences and disarms a target while also making them incapable of using items for the duration. While it is expensive, it can help a lot vs Sevens Storm Cloud, Dynamos Singularity and many more and its one of the most powerful items in the game.
- Silence Glyph — Buy this if you want to silence enemies and turn them into a quick kill. Works exceptionally well vs enemies that make use of short cooldowns like Lash. It is also great for countering Yamato as the silence can stop her from using the ultimate.
- Debuff Remover — This item removes all debuffs when pressed and can be amazing vs heroes like Bebop as it counters his Sticky Bomb entirely.
- Metal Skin — While not very useful against other heroes, this is very good vs Hazes ultimate, allowing you to reposition away from her while she uses it without taking any damage.
